You see those Tinubu supporters ehn. They’re the greatest hypocrites to exist. They will form love for you and sing your praises when things are going on well between you and their master. But once their master and you fall out, they will call you all sorts and forget they ever called you the best. They did it to Ambode, Aregbe, Osibanjo, now it’s Edun. These same people hailed Edun as the best finance minister ever in Nigeria and even said he’s going to replicate what in did in Lagos in Nigeria. |
Abbeytoy:They’ve not started campaigning yet, until I get to listen or read their manifestos and plans on how to handle the numerous challenges facing the state before I decide. “Vote for continuity” is not enough reason for me |
akpumping7720:Neither did it take Rome 20 years to build a functional drainage system in the city. Stop defending mediocrity. We must ask these people to do more. They take humongous amount of money as salary and allowances. |
Abbeytoy:Another candidate from a new party will be better for Lagos. Then we will know if truly all the things we’ve been told by APC since 1999 till date are true or false. Despite the huge IGR they claim to generate, Lagos state still lack proper drainage system and effective waste management. |
It’s better to vote another party. A vote for APC in Lagos state is a vote for continuous looting and lies. |
The honorable thing is for that INEC chair to resign. Even if he claims to be non partisan, no one would believe elections conducted under his leadership will be fair. No be must make you chair INEC. |
Lifestone:What gives that impression of ownership of Nigeria is the amalgamation of the northern and southern protectorates in 1914 by Lugard. Even the name Nigeria is similar to the name Niger republic was called. |
osuofia2:And what did SARS do combat these guys when they were active? |
I don’t know how you can. But start by drinking 1 bottle instead of two a day. Drink that one bottle several times a day. Don’t consume the entire bottle at once. |
HacheNoire:Did you omit the part where they owe themselves (businesses and individuals in the US) over 70%? |
Looks 10X better than the trillion naira coastal fraud. |
There’s open defecation along the uncompleted blue line railway corridor from Mile 2 down to Alakija under bridge. When will these toilets be installed along that corridor. @naptu you can direct this to the govt. seems you are close to them. People defecate daily along that rail path. |
This looks like Tejuoso market. Watch as miscreants will go to start attacking them soon. |
How you expect a man that controls Lagos and its political structure down to who becomes an ordinary councilor to dissolve power at the federal level is baffling. |
What the hell is “Yoruba woman of the week” |
naptu2:That's where Tianjin comes in. 3) Tianjin is another place that uses solar power to provide electricity (mains power, not standby). So what happens at night. This is a quote from your long post. What do you mean by mains power? About the Lancaster. Why did you not mention the exact Lancaster? Again that same Lancaster you mentioned has hydroelectric power as its primary source followed by solar. Solar does not power the entire city as you claimed. This again is according to Google sources. I am not deflecting as I’m still on course of your initial claims and only verifying if you’re right or wrong which unfortunately for you, you are wrong. |
We will soon start buying paracetamol for 2000 naira a sachet. |
naptu2:Again. According to a simple Google search, that city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania USA you mentioned uses nuclear plants and natural gas as its main source of electricity. I still ask you to provide proof that Tianjin in China uses solar as its main source of electricity. |
naptu2:What exactly do you want us to find out? You just mentioned Tianjin. A google search of the main power source in Tianjin shows coal-fired thermal power. So clarify what you mean by Tianjin and its correlation with solar. |
The last time an incumbent southern president was defeated in an election was by a northern candidate backed with a section of the south. To remove Tinubu it has to be a strong northern candidate paired with a strong support from a section of the south. Putting up a southern candidate against Tinubu may result in victory for Tinubu. The northerners may vote Tinubu because they’re guaranteed power after his second 4 years. Peter Obi vs Tinubu in an election will favor Tinubu more. I suspect those pushing the narrative are working for APC either directly or indirectly. Tinubu vs a strong northern candidate is what can remove him from that seat. Our goal should be to oust this government and party first. |
Tinubu govt budgets 1.4bn naira for BH trials in the 2026 budget. Tinubu govt released 1.46bn naira out of the less than 25bn naira budgeted for the armed forces security equipment purchase in 2025. The same Tinubu govt gave Wike 23bn naira to renovate the house of the VP. Tinubu govt spent 150bn naira on presidential aircraft few months after assuming office as president. They care less about the welfare of the people and the armed forces. We all can see where their priorities lie. |
You underfund the armed forces and come around to blame the state governors for security lapses in their states. You control all the armed forces and their budgetary resources. Failure of a president and government. |
When you compare Nigeria to Cameroon, you’ll know Nigeria is way better. I understand your plight. |
Dem call am entrepreneur, I know see Oke business wey him establish or managed in the biography. |
This would take a while to be possible. You know why? Bad education. A large population of Nigerians are ill educated and do not reason beyond tribal and religious sentiments. If a few stands to challenge the status quo, some people can be manipulated by politicians or even do it based on he’s our son, he’s our brother to counter those that want the nation to move forward. This will give the politicians the opportunity to step in and try to squash the protesters. Unless we have a very large percentage of the population that are wiling to tow that path, we’ll just keep running in circles. |
Na maintenance and battery replacement bill go make am become dormant. Hydro, coal or gas is still a cheaper and better option. How many countries do we see using solar as a major source of energy? It’s always an alternative, not meant to be the main source. |
ChiefOloye:What job will they do very well? |
delpee:He created a problem for himself by deciding to leverage on his maternal roots while still maintaining his paternal roots? Or because he dared to challenge the status quo? Or that he called the so called development paraded by the APC in Lagos for over 2 decades as fraud? |
bewla:I must jump enter because someone has to call out the hypocrisy in that statement. |
delpee:But they do against children of their sons? Gbadebo is termed an outsider even when his father and father’s lineage are known to be real Lagosians, but Hamzat that his father is a monarch in Ogun state is welcome. Hypocrisy na him go kpai many of una Batists. |
Make I repeat the line of Abat boys. “We need his brains and not his body” |
Just know that on the ballot paper, ADC will come before APC. I’m beginning to understand why ADC was adopted instead of forming a new party. |
