Oga Capitals you'll probably see this late but I want to confirm something.. Take a look at GU. It is currently trading below 1.5400. This is a good zone for a buy in my own view depending on where the buy confirmation comes (amount of risk etc..). Please I'd like to know what you think of this zone.

I can see a phone number to "call if you need it"... As you are calling make sure you get a strategy to be used in line with the meter too or say goodbye to your trading account. If are asked to pay even a kobo for this meter just google "Dashboard forex trading" and get far more sophisticated meters for free

Not exactly boss but I am still watching. For example when we get similar entries, your TP is often well away from where I would have placed mine. Taking the NZDCAD of yesterday, I don't trade it but the TP would have been around 0.8555 while yours was 600 pips away.

This is another lesson for anyone that doesn't trade with stop loss or uses obscene lot sizes. Also calling tops and bottoms requires exquisite skills to know when a pair is still going strong in a direction. GA just shot up over 500 pips in a few seconds. EA over 600. EN 1000+ Imagine holding it and waiting for it to come down..

Annoyingly my EJ trade had just a 130 pips TP or I will be smiling now..

Second failure at that level may be a pointer to some heavy downward shedding.. Holding my first trade on the pair this week till tomorrow. I expect the data from Europe in the morning to add to the downward slide but will probably move to BE just before impact.

Oga Capitals still on the long term practice, how do you know when to possibly close a trade and avoid losing 300+ pips? Looking at EA and wondering if it will go past the current highs before going back to that entry zone.. You also don't move to break even after some movement. Care to share your thoughts on these?

Not really, he wasn't trading or at least looking at the chart for those 8 years. He even said he stopped live trading 4 years ago. May just need some coaching but whatever..

The way you are sounding ehn... Better stay away from this business until you have learnt it inside out. Demos are considered useless only when you can't train yourself to see the paper money as your own. Demo for at least 2 months then put that your money in a micro account. If you don't have hopes of riding a jeep in a few months with $100 you can shed that your fear and become a good trader over the next 12 months.

Although, they said if there had been a problem with the transfer, it would have reverted back to them. Now I'm eying my bank with suspicion. I was assigned a new account's officer and after his investigation he is sure that the transfer has not reached the bank.

Nawa o.. That's bad on their part if they confirmed that the money is yet to reach the bank. Just have patience.

Yep, you are correct. That's why I said 1-2% on each trade over many trades. With 60 trades open he has 60% of the account exposed. The style looks crazy as evidenced by current results.

Thanks for sharing this, I have been following that fellow since I saw this to see what exactly he is doing quite. And as much as I HATE to admit, I see the possibility. (trader made 7269 pips in one week)

I think I concluded too early the same way I had concluded day traders don't turn a profit in the long run in fx. I know you can day trade stocks and futures profitably (cos you have another trader on the other side of your trade) but didnt think so with fx (cos you have the broker on the other side and your win is their loss).

I see how I can day trade now (and its not like most of the guys here do anyway) and more importantly I see how I can make thousands of pips(maybe not as much as 7000 plus for a start) in shorter periods than I already do. I wont try any of these on my live account now though, but they are noted and I will definitely do them.

That's why I brought the link here.. Bottom line in this business is there are many ways to kill a rat. As long as you are increasing account, go ahead with whatever works for you..No one rule is the best. You always hear supposed "pro traders" telling some of us that manage 50-100% monthly that anything beyond 20% A YEAR is suicidal bla bla.. Wonder what they will tell that guy!

However I don't think I can do what he does.. He basically opens 20-60 trades and closes once they all move in profit by 5 or more pips. I wonder why he simply doesn't open the trades with a combination of the total lots he spreads across 20+ trades? His ROI numbers will still be 500%+ but pips count will definitely not be 7000+. Just feels like he is intentionally padding up stats. Again.. I can't be overly enthusiastic about his system till I see his balance. Looking at trade results alone, lad basically spreads out 1-2% of his account across many trades at once! See his last EU trades.. 60 trades at the same time..10 pips move and he has made 600 pips.

He says he does it manually but I don't believe that. You have to be Jarvis to be able to open and close that number of trades with such precision.

People keep repeating this question ignoring old answers.

If you are depositing money in your dom account that will just sit there, that is when you won't be allowed. If you are depositing money solely for the purpose of being wired for a legitimate reason like paying school fees, forex, etc. there is no limitation. For withdrawals, you are expected to go and withdraw the money as soon as it hits your account or convert it to naira through the means supported by your bank.

Makes me wonder if people asking are dom account holders or people still wishing to open one.. Otherwise why not pick up a phone and call someone at your bank or walk there yourself?

Is the indicator a .mq4 file? Did you copy it into the right folder? If not open your MT4, click on file, click on open data folder, when the folder opens click on MQL4 folder, then open the indicator folder and paste the file. Close and restart your MT4. You can also copy .ex4 files this way but some of them won't work. If the indicator is in the right place in your navigator and it is not showing, it is most likely and .ex4 file with a small grey icon on it instead of the standard gold icon.

Look at that your circled area.. See how price has refused to close above 6780 since 16th of July. This is the 4th rejection at that level which is great for some of us.

One last thing, please. I know that earlier in the year when I made a deposit with that card, my bank charged me almost 240 on every dollar. I've just spoken with my bank and today's rate stands at 199. In your case, especially since it's a "refund", please what was the rate used to convert your withdrawal: Was it the rate used when you deposited OR the current bank's rate? I ask because ForexTime insists they sent out my funds in USD and it will be up to my bank here to do the conversion.

Lol.. You will get the CBN rate. That's where they chop us. Mine was done when they charged me 200 for sending and I received the refund at the rate of 160 at the time. One of my friends funded for 230 recently and received at 199.

I'm glad though that I found someone who's experienced this. It's kinda baffling. I never knew they could just up and send money to our normal ATM cards without any account info to direct the funds to the beneficiary. At your time, was it just your debit card info you filled out to facilitate the withdrawal? Or did your bank account details follow up too? In my case it's just the card data they used and assured me the funds will somehow end up in my bank account...

They don't need any additional information. They can reverse money to the card it originated from and it will go the linked account. When you get the alert you will see it is counted as a "refund".

@shevychen, did you eventually try these, quick 100pts already in the bag. final destination 1.5805,were I ll start considering a swing down(1.59xx) I will keep offsetting my longs along the way with the last long getting off at 1.5805.

A lower low is still possible anyway, couldnt get in were I most loved to get in. Settled for a slightly higher price
