I have actually been holding myself from asking exactly this same question. but i always tell myself that hopefully their reason should be worth it.
A $10k account was worth N3.6m in December. Today, it is worth N4.2m even if you haven't placed a single trade in three months. Doesn't make sense.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Shevychen2: 4:20pm On Apr 17, 2020
I wonder why people are actively chasing a Naira account at a time when the currency is rapidly decaying. A $100 account will always make more sense than a N40,000 account. The multiple zeros in your naira account will look good but then..

Anyway undecided

https://www.tradingschools.org/online-trading-academy-yes-its-a-fraud/

The United States Federal Trade Commission has finally exploded the Online Trading Academy.
On February 12, 2020, the FTC filed a massive 8000+ page lawsuit alleging that the Online Trading Academy ripped off thousands of consumers for a total of $370 million dollars, since at least 2014.
However, the alleged fraud is likely much larger and probably closer to $670 million dollars. According to a source that contacted TradingSchools.Org, the organization was not charged with the full amount because the statute of limitations only covered the prior 6 years.
The lawsuit filed in the Southern District of California is an absolute nightmare and essentially describes what amounts to a highly refined and well-orchestrated financial slaughterhouse where primarily elderly consumers were fleeced of their life savings.
Additionally, on February 25, the FTC was able to successfully obtain a Temporary Restraining Order and was able to freeze the personal and corporate assets of the company founders: Eyal Shachar and Sam Seiden.
Yet another "teacher.." goes down for criminality.. Couldn't even use his Supply and Demand to make money for the poor souls he fleeced of millions.

You would probably have more expertise on these, I would have otherwise thought that brokers whom reflected that move operate on direct liquidity with their financial houses and how could it be just coincidence that price reversed from a perfect EW impulse point?
Gold was meant to have reversed from 1636 [it actually did from 1638] to 1500 for an impulse leg and then head back up to 1700 and upwards of 1900. But that should have taken around 3/4 weeks not 1min, lol.
On the contrary, it suggests they are operating a liquidity pool that is not big enough and separate from some of the biggest liquidity providers. Especially the European ones.

About the reversal point, one thing I have learnt is there will always be justification for any reversal. Could be that the fat finger that triggered that move in their pool was targeting the same level. We'll never know. But hey, that's why technical analysis works. What you are seeing, so many others are also seeing it.. So, self-fulfilling prophecy.

Oh sir, it happened on hotforex, IC markets that I know. I was looking to enter a correction move in Gold, 2secs and everything bursts!!
Nawa o. 1000+ pips fake move. Tickmill had that issue at some point and refunded traders what they lost. Hopefully these ones will do the same. Any broker that can have such moves that are not universal.. Hmm.

Stop losses are ignored in those situations too which is why proper position sizing remains the best remedy.

Lol. You na boss. Nothing wey you wan learn again. grin

But for anyone else interested, it is easy to deconstruct my chart and entries and find out what I am doing or close if you already know your S/D and Fibo (if not, no worry yourself o). But basically, I just look for good areas, hit it (in line with the trend) and target the nearest obstacle (according to my definition).

Mr Capitals really helped fine tune the strategy for me a few years ago with his advice so may also be nice to look at his charts as well. If you go back in previous seasons, you will see my exchanges with him. Really helped.

This one is completely finished it seems.. Activated my "no distraction" template until we are at 1.15xx.

BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Shevychen2: 6:16pm On Mar 12, 2020
The volatility is beautiful to see (even though it is caused by unfortunate circumstances) but it is dangerous for untrained hands. The trick is either to reduce position sizes+widen stops significantly +ignore the zig zag moves, or to trade with trailing stops. The former option is better because the choppy moves and zone clearing by MM will make trailing stops annoying.

Anywhich way, we observe. Will this be hotter than 2008? The signs are already there, but we hope it doesnt get worse than this. The virus vaccine/treatment is needed urgently o.

Boss man method! Thanks for dropping by sir, please also show us how you do this basketting of yours.[seriously]
Lol this man and whyning. Can't call it basketting (if you meant Mr. Pipbasket's style) per say just trading with a longer term view. Minimum weekly but usually monthly. I hate market noise so I try to tune it out as much as possible. 100 pips is </= 1% to me so you can understand why I have no problem with long term reactionary trend following. Even when I have to pick tops/bottoms, it is still strictly in line with the trend (according to my own definition).

Please note to everyone here especially the newbie
Don't give your money to anyone here to trade for you blindly.
The standard advise is to ask for at least a 6 month trade record to see if you are willing to take the risk.

Don't let the thousands of pips fool you, must of this cons multiple demo account for this pleasure.

And after this warning,
Don't come here and cry foul that you have lost your money.
Firstly it is unfortunate that you are supporting that crackhead above insulting someone's parents over a joke he is too daft to understand.

Regarding the trader in question, the argument of whether he trades live or demo is nonsense. The most important thing is that he makes trade calls BEFORE a move, and shows the results in the end. That's serious work any time any day. Every day I glance through here, most of his calls end in positive.. Then once a few end in a loss, the usual names jump out to insult him, and sensible people know why.

Even the ones supposedly trading live, how are you sure they are taking all the trades they post exactly as they post it? You haven't seen live traders that have 80% accuracy in online forums but crashing their own live accounts?

Forex is complicated. As long as you are not looking at a live analytics chart that updates every 5 minutes at least.. It is pointless arguing who is trading demo and who isn't. Let people do what they want. You can only judge based on what you see, and the trader has done a good job of transparency on that front. The essence of this thread is to post calls and since this year at least, the man has been the most consistent at it.

About bragging, I have only seen that from the "hedge fund manager". I don't think its fair for some of us that are largely inactive (myself included) to waltz in at any point and beginning sounding condescending at the people that have ensured you have a thread to come back to. Some of the "veteran" names you are calling have crashed accounts and disappeared. Some are far too big for you and Nairaland now. Let's not needlessly alienate the ones keeping the thread alive.

Regardless of what you say or do, foolish and greedy people will always remain in forex trading. It is good to point out obvious scams or obvious falsehoods (like happened with the other fellow) but this demo/live talk is silly. Especially as the man hasn't asked anyone for money or told any useless lies in a bid to attract sheep.

You think someone that is always bragging about how rich he is won't try to disprove the facts against him if he had something to use? Lol.

It's also hilarious to think that anyone that is managing such huge amounts will be on the Internet looking for peanut holders to impress with screenshots. People that have managed up to "ordinary" $100k here and delivered results understand what I mean. You don't need to hustle for customers or advertise ever again in your life.

Anyway, allowing natural selection to take its course is not always a bad thing grin

Catching up with the pages and just LOL..

Do you know why forex trading is difficult? Because most human beings lose all sense of responsibility once there is "easy" money to be made. A mixture of greed and sheer stupidity. It's why even professors get duped by so called forex traders...and why even the smartest bookworms can't learn how to trade.

After 12 years of being in the online business field in general, three things I have learnt:

1. Anyone that mixes religion while marketing to you is a fraud.

2. Anyone that overshares needless information, personal or otherwise, is a fraud 100%.

3. Anyone that over promises will ALWAYS under deliver.

Make of this what you will.

@schevychen, I hope you are counting the number of pips ?

When I said 250 pips target per month is child's play, I meant EXACTLY what I said!!!
You are obviously an intentionally dishonest individual so I won't be responding to you ever again. Below is what I said about your 200 pips claim.

Shevychen2:
"Ordinary 200 pips.." How many people can make it consistently monthly while maintaining the risk limits etc the Bluefx or whatever has set?
Sensible and clear-minded people understood what I meant. That you are making it (which no one can verify btw as one chart of closed trade means nothing) doesnt mean the rest of the sheep you are trying to lead to slaughter will make it. Your ignoring the full sentence to push your utterly selfish agenda and your rush to always draw false equivalence is a common habit of people with ulterior motives. Carry on with your victim hunt, but please leave me alone in your dubiousness.

Anyone that allows themselves to get cheated off their hard-earned money after the exchanges here the past few weeks fully deserves it.

"Ordinary 200 pips.." How many people can make it consistently monthly while maintaining the risk limits etc the Bluefx or whatever has set? If you are honestly saying that you don't see how it is attractive for a company to relax and swipe subscription fees in an industry where 90% WILL FAIL GUARANTEED after all these years... Man.

Do you know how much FXTM Nigeria alone makes off ignorant people? Lmao.

Anyway, nobody is a goat here. If you trust yourself and you have money to risk, give them and good luck.

Sir, I hope you now see how painful it actually is when one makes such imbalanced assertions?

I only used the same metric with which you condemned blufx to evaluate darwinex.

E never reach fight.
You are frigging hilarious. You paid charges on Skrill so Darwinex is evil? Wait until you find out other limits like the credit card etc. If you don't like them, withdraw your money and rest.

Your anger is that I shut down your Blu Fx that asks people to pay subscription fees? You ignored the man that did the actual analysis and trying to find what to say to me that only talked about how they are making money off those subscriptions? grin grin

Imbalanced assertions that I am trying to warn people about the danger of paying upfront fees for a measly $25,000 account with dozens of rules? Or that I didn't warn you that Darwinex charges commission for Skrill (which I am sure isn't up to 0.01%of whatever you deposited)? Or is it the Tigerwit one that is annoying you?

If I see a recommendation or an assertion that is either dangerous or featuring intentional or unintentional dishonesty, I will react if I have the time. Wouldn't give a toss about your Tigerwit if you didn't start the A-book B-book talk (when addressing people that will start an account with $100 or less).. Also wouldn't care about your Blu Fx if they weren't charging fees that 90% of people will lose.

If you want to compare this to Darwinex charging you commission to deposit money..Lmao. Like I said, no vex. Next time I will tell you about everything.. Including their weekly swaps to be balanced. You will tell me if I came here to do a Darwinex broker review or to talk about their OPM opportunities. Nonsense.

You and who is fighting? Lmfao. Man, bye.

darwinex whom you promote very strongly CHARGES me when I deposit.

Pepperstone doesn't charge me on deposits.

Is your darwinex hungry for the little amount they charge me for deposit?
Please let's keep the limits. I am not promoting anyone. Have you seen me share an affiliate link here or what? I haven't even shared any strategy and asked people to follow..I know it is too much expecting some of you to measure your words, but please.. Try.

I pay very small wire transfer fees when I withdraw/deposit money with them. It is their business model and I don't have any issues whatsoever with it.

They also offer max 1:30 leverage (1:200 if you can be bothered to provide more lengthy documentation) and I still don't care. BTW, I have since found other options that are equally as good so they are not my only broker.

To each his own.

I wonder when showing good traders why they should and how they can trade OPM legitimately without stress turned to promoting a broker.

meshpips:
What about the ones that only collect a SECURITY DEPOSIT and then refund you the full amount paid IF you pass the evaluation?
Same thing. They are counting on the fact that many will not pass the evaluation.. It is well established that 7/10 people will fail in normal trading conditions.. Throw in some of the ridiculous rules and closer to 9/10 people will fail. So they get to pocket all or some of the deposits abi?

Enforcing a 10% monthly loss rule isn't really that bad as anyone trading with a 5-10% VAR should be able to stay below that..

However I saw one that says traders cannot have trades open over the weekend, and they must take xxxx trades weekly.. Clearly encouraging scalping. A longer term trader will be tempted to try scalping and fail.. Then they have lost the monthly fee.. Etc. Just dubious, but dem no force anybody sha.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Shevychen2:
Any supposed funding platform where you have to pay to get in or even worse, pay a monthly fee is nonsense that any sensible trader should avoid. Not even talking about all the technical aspect.. Just the fact that they are charging fees to give supposed opportunities is enough to know they are just feasting on the fact that many people will never recover the fees based on the stringent rules.

Some of the rules from these companies are usually so useless and will in many cases require changing your trading style (recipe for disaster).

If you trust your skills, go on the numerous platforms that don't have such barriers and make a name for yourself. You don't need any fanciful qualifications and nobody needs to know your real name. Just make profits while taking responsible risks.
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Shevychen2: 5:59am On Jan 15, 2020
You people are so hilarious with this massive sense of entitlement. Nobody owes you any charts or whatever. How anyone chooses to post is at their discretion. It is funny how it is people that are even more irregular than us that are "suggesting" rules.

It is as simple as ignoring posts without charts or those you feel do not know what they are doing.

What next? Make a rule to only post alerts based on Fibos or Elliott waves? Or for people to teach their strategies first before posting alerts?

Lol.

The original goal of this thread is for people to compare entries and discuss general forex topics not to help people build accounts or to teach strategies. If anyone decides to go above and beyond to spoon feed, kudos to them. It is not your right to demand that from anyone.

If you are 100% relying on the alerts here to trade real money or learn forex, you are not a serious person. You are supposed to have your own strategy first and then compare what you are seeing from your strategy to any alerts that get your attention here (if any).
