Nice. The display looks awesome |
Just because its released after the CX doesn't mean it's a successor of the CX. The CX could look and feel better than the CM doesn't mean the CM isn't low end |
This isn’t the first time we have received several hints about Africa’s Number one smartphone maker, TECNO releasing one innovative phone or the other. In fact, most of the rumours turn out to be true. Some months ago, rumour mill buzzed about TECNO launching one of the best camera phones in Africa and when the device eventually launched (the Phantom , it turned out to be the smartphone with one of the best camera features till date. So, with the leaked images coming from tipsters about TECNO’s launch of its first full View smartphone, I think we should expect something special from them. For some years now, TECNO has not disappointed us as they consistently launch several top-of-the-lines smartphones from the Phantom series to the Camon series to the L series and it is reported that this yet to be launched device is coming under the Camon series which is to be called the TECNO CAMON CM- amazing stuffs Nonetheless, there is no guarantee that the device, which is rumoured to flaunt a massive screen of between 5-6-inch Full View, will actually hit the shelves this week or next but some very reliable sources confirmed that the device will come earlier than expected For now, I guess we should reserve our judgment and wait to see what happens in the next few days. But one thing is certain, as it has been in their recent style, TECNO will surely surprise its fans. So what features are you expecting from TECNO’s first Full View Smartphone? You must be sleeping on a bicycle if you have not already heard of the TECNO XmasHugs Activity. Hugging family and friends is the new cool thing and as you would admit, a lot of us in this side of the world don’t get to consciously do that often due to the high demands for survival. We love Christmas because it is a season of pleasant surprises, love sharing and gift sharings. But the best Christmas gifts are not those wrapped in a paper. No store sells them. It’s the care you show one to another, that warm hug that speaks louder than words. Just with a hug you could put a smile on someone’s Faces this Christmas and interestingly, TECNO has decided to reward folks who take time out to consciously enjoy the company of their loved ones this festive period and embellish them with hugs. Since the activity started two weeks ago, thousands of entries have been sent in where 10 winners have already been chosen across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and TECNOSpot. At the end of second week, Joyce Okwu, Karshao4, Odehossana, Bethylov and Isaac Femi all emerged as Week Two winners in the online activity which was announced on TECNO’s Official page on Tuesday. They will all get Special TECNO Xmas Hampers each. The TECNOXmasHugs will run till 31 of December, 2017 and you can still participate and win big. So, If you are yet to join in the activity, you can still do so by participating either online or offline. Here’s how to you can do that: HOW TO PARTICIPATE ONLINE STEP 1 – Take a picture of you hugging your family and friends and accompany it with a captivating caption. STEP 2 – Upload on TECNO’s Facebook page as comment under the activity pinned post with the hashtag #TECNOXmasHugs or on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and TECNOSpot with the same hashtag #TECNOXmasHugs. Tag and follow TECNOMobileNG on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter and TECNOSpot to make your entry valid. Every week, we will pick 5 winners- One entry with the most reasonable replies on Facebook, the most reasonable comments on Instagram, one entry with the most valid retweets on Twitter, One entry with the most mentions on Snapchat and one entry with the most “agrees” on TECNOSpot. These 5 weekly winners will be rewarded with Special TECNO Hampers. HOW TO PARTICIPATE OFFLINE STEP 1 – Walk into any TECNO authorized store and buy a TECNO smartphone to get an instant gift and a raffle ticket. The raffle ticket qualifies you and the TECNO Smart Ambassador in that store to win a Phantom 8 each. Guess what, that’s not all! You can still stand a chance of winning Special TECNO hampers by simply taking a photo with one of the Rabbit dressed Smart Ambassadors at any of the TECNO accredited stores, follow the brand on all their social media pages and consequently upload the picture on your social media page(s) with the harshtag #TECNOXmasHugs. Those who emerge winners online cannot participate in the activity online again but can join the offline activity and increase their chances of winning a Phantom 8 smartphone amongst other gift items. missbeckykisses:Who's this slowpoke? You say the update no has HiOS which means prior to the update there was none. I've used the phone, I've bought a couple for others, I use more phones in a month than you've had in your entire life. Did you even see where i quoted the source of the article at the end of the post or you're just plain slow and stupid? |
Hey Guys So I remember sometime back when every time you bought a new device you had to be prepared to charge it for at least 6 hours before you could start using your device. Failure to do this meant you ended up having a device that could barely help you get through half a day of use. I remember I once got a device that I only charged for an hour or less the first time I got it... To be honest I ended up having to buy a new battery for my device as I could barely got 4 hours of use . Anyway my experience since then has shaped my approach when it comes to new smartphone, nowadays I charge my new devices for at least 4 hours regardless of whether or not it tells me that it is full or not . However, as it turns out this is not really necessary anymore, you see what made it necessary for us to charge our devices for those extended periods of time was that those batteries were NiMH batteries. Yes NiMH batteries also known as nickel–metal hydride batteries had certain requirements when it came to charge/discharge cycles. This means that those cells in the battery had "memories" and as such a long charge period had to be set for the first time so that the batteries could "remember" to retain their charge for an extended period of time. So, simply put when you charged your battery which was a NiMH battery for a long period of time, the battery would then remember to retain the charge for a similarly long period of time. This sadly applied in reverse too, you see if you didn't charge your device for long either, then it didn't get to last long either. However, with the coming of the new Lithium-ion batteries, also known as Li-ion batteries, this need has been negated. With Li-ion cells or batteries, you can start using the device right away, even if the cells are only partially charged. All Li-ion cells are supposed to go through a formation stage after coming off the production line to make sure the electrodes are working properly by doing a full charge. It is also to "activate" or "wake up" all of the chemical components in that cell to be ready for prime time. So, the chemicals are all primed to start operating without further preparation. That simply means that there's basically no adverse effects of not doing a full charge on your new battery. So there you have it guys... We don't need to keep charging our new devices for obscene amounts of time just for it to last us a day... As long as the phone has a Lithium ion battery we are good to go. Anyway, how many of us were like me and charged (or should I say overcharged) their new devices? Please, lets stand up to be counted . As always comments, opinions and suggestions are welcome below... Cheers guys .
