If you like yourself do not spend the money. It happened to a colleague of mine some time back. I credited him with 450k and it credited him twice. He called the account officer and reported at the bank bit they did nothing. He spent the money. Almost 6-7 months later, they debited his account for that amount. Just be sure that sooner or later they will detect the error and just be sure that when they do, you have enough in your account to cover it else....

Contact your bro to confirm actual amount sent.
If as usual, then mistake is from the bank.
In this case you can be sure that d bank will detect this error now or later( audit ).
So my BEST advice to you is to present this case
JEJELY to your bank's customer care service or better still write them officially.

I think the error is from the agent not bank, reason is that bank has nothing to do with the transaction, the agent are to collect cash from the customer which is my uncle including service fee and make a wire transfer from their company account to the destination account, just like normal inter banks transfer we do here

if there is any error at all then the error is not from the bank. it is possible the agents paid in more money into your account.there is no line in your post that shows you called the agents or your uncle to confirm how much he paid in. but it is definitely not bank error. apart from he fact that banks don't joke with their money, i had a similar issue when i was told i am operating a students account and that i can't have more than 600k in my account unless i upgrade the account to give me access to any amount i wanted. all you need to do is go to bank and upgrade your account them call the agent or your uncle to ask how much he asked the agent to pay into your account.

My uncle who is in UK normally send money direct to my GTBANK through agent, about a month bank I was expecting some money from him which I later received, but to my greatest surprise, I received the alert twice and the amount was doubled, I ignored it hoping it was just an bank alert error, as time goes on, as I was making other transactions with the account extra N370 keeps reflecting, but the issue was the my account was restricted, on getting to bank to know why the restriction I was told I opened the account as a student account and their is a limit to amount I can't receive with it which is 500K and I've received more than that so I was asked to upgrade it to be active, as I write this message I still have the money in my account which I've only withdrawn 10K from it, I'm scared of bank issue, I don't want them to start dragging my boxer, it's a month now, guyz do you think they can still come for this money? I already have a plan for this money, I guess the error is from the agent that did the fund transfer not bank, I'm still wondering if that is my 2016 Promo.
