Our Market Thoughts for 28th January 2013

On the 28th January, 2013 the NSE ASI at the 31,474.88 with market sentiment strongly on the upside though momentum indicator of the overall index shows a weak upside movement signifying a caution for market participants who speculates the market over the short term.

Some individual company stocks on my to-watch list have shown great time to re-enter. Using purely Technical Analysis the following stocks is therefore recommended:

United Bank for Africa Plc shares was on full suspension, in order to allow the company conclude the Scheme of Arrangement for the restructuring process and subsequent Listing of UBA Capital Plc and Africa Prudential Plc.

I can only recommend stocks based on my analystical tools, when I get the right entry signal I would definitely post it. As it is high time Nigerians appreciate the Nigerian Market and start profiting from it.

Amazing as it seems, the year 2013 has been declared from various quarters as the year of hope. Many analysts, investors and countries believe 2013 would be a year where the economic crisis cloud would be cleared. This I believe and I sure hope you do.

Though there were a lot of happening in 2012, I think it made more profit for those who ventured rightly. Investors in the Nigeria’s capital market would testify that the NSE index returns a 35.45% gain making it the third most profitable financial market in Africa in 2012. Other global financial markets such as Commodities, indexes (Dow and S&P) and Currencies also show substantial gains.

On personal ground, my investment and trading portfolio has a growth of 65% returns 2012 (prove has been attached). Trading the FX and commodity (Gold and Sliver) markets have been an advantage for me even as the shadow of uncertainty beclouds the economic stability of the financial markets and countries in general. My performance record has proven that trading and investing in FX and Commodities in 2013 would be the right decision you can make since increase liquidity is expected in these makes.

I invite you to make the decision of investing in the financial markets in 2013, Nigeria Capital Market should be among your focus this year as the NSE would see high level of liquidity and participation both locally and internationally. All i do are as follows;

1. Determine the trend from longer timeframe (mostly weekly and daily) using my own developed moving averages
2. Plot weekly pivot point on 4hrs charts
3. plot daily pivot points on 1hr charts for entry in the direction of my determined trend indicator
4. sl and tp placed using both hourly and 4hrs charts using pp system
5. Risk/reward ratio is 2:1

Thats it but there is a way i use it as you may know trading system is person.

Can some really tell me what we mean by Price Action because all these criticisms about indicators makes me wonder on what people understand by price action?

I have being trading for 3 yrs now, my performance in 2012 has shown over 100% (with all humility not pride)and all i use is MA, Pivot Point sys, R-S levels and patterns. So why all these price action thing, when in actual fact everyone is using price action.
