Cameroon is a bilingual country. My country was colonized by the French and British. Our official language is French and English. I am from the French part of the country but did my education in both English and French.

Yes you are right about Congolese being the owners of Rhumba. Olomide happens to be the king of Rhumba but another may have a different opinion. Even Fally Ipupa that you love started with him. He also has a sweet voice and dances well that's the reason ladies love him a lot . I have really dug deep into francophone music.

Yeah. Koffi is the King of Rhumba. No one can argue that. Koffi trained Fally. Fally just sang a song with R. Kelly. I promise u that u will love it. It's a Rhumba. Check it out.

yes it's. I listen to them depending on my mood. Zouk, Rhumba, etc. My former colleague a Togolese once said, i wish you understood what you are listening to, then you will appreciate the music more. She couldn't believe i will be a fan of francophone music.

Same here. I can't believe you re so much a lover of francophone musics and she was right abt the fact that if u could understand the words, then u would have love it the more. And u just talk abt Rhumba. I must confess u have great taste for music. Congolese are owners of Rhumba.papa Wemba came to mind.

I do love french music a lot as previously indicated. Infact, some of the artist i listed in my previous post, i have their tracks from the 60's till date. Unfortunately many of them died young such as Jean Baron, franco luambo makiadi, pepe kalle, freddy de majunga, etc. Atleast you should be able to confirm my likeness for francophone music. Yes but no one to teach me
