Nope..... He's one of those players who came through without starring for the U-17s/U-20s.

He was doing his thing as a young prolific striker for 3SC of Ibadan (AkA.... Shooting Stars SC) before he left for the Tunisian league.

Hope to see more goals from him in this tournament as his goals and those of Awoniyi, Usman, Etebo, Dimgba, Osimhen etc.

Meanwhile, I knew this match will be tough but we're gonna win. It's Nigeria 3-2 Mali now......

Junior Ajayi is based in the Tunisian league playing for CS Sfaxien. He's a fine goal getter and has improved positionally since the qualifiers for both this U-23 Afcon and the AAG.
