Ibebe: You're right. There's no excuse whatsoever, but before we can blame Yoruba governors, let's think about the school curriculums. Is it federal regulated or state regulated?
Neither the north nor the SS have history classes pertaining to their tribe. It's because of this one Nigerian nonsense. It's taking a lot from us. It is regulated by the federal ministry of education. Besides, some parents don't even speak Yoruba language to their children at home, it is termed 'razz'. I know a lot of Yoruba children born and bred in Nigeria but can't speak the language. |

LouisVanGaal: Op you are right! Buhari WANTED fashola as running mate..but due to the politics of ethnicity and religious card instituted by the PDP..it made it difficult.. Let me tell you..I have this belief that these govt would have its ministers Struggling to dislodge or outdo each other in performance! This is just a new platform to re-launch and finally endear themselves into the hearts of Nigerians against 2019... Mark my words, a particular minister would be presented as a RUNNING mate to the flag-bearer against 2019 presidential race on account of his good performance.. Nope, Buhari wanted Tunde Bakare as his running mate, Fashola comes after Tunde. Politics, religion, Conflict of interest everything was standing on their way. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Has Indirectly Made Fashola His Second In Command by shizzy7(f): 10:01am On Nov 12, 2015 |
firstEVA: With the appointment of Babatunde Fashola as Minister for Power, Works and Housing, it is very clear that the president has so much confidence in Fashola, I am tempted to conclude that if not for the negative response which would have greeted a muslim/muslim ticket for presidency, Buhari would have picked Fashola as running mate. This is his own smart way of making Fashola his second in command. Osibanjo is just there like a piece of ornament. He has always been his second in command. They went to important meetings together like the G-7 summit. Fashola is on point. |

Rickyuzzy: Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for “assigning worthy ministerial portfolios” to people from the South-East region in his cabinet.
In a statement by its President, Udoka Udeogaranya, the group said the worthy ministerial portfolios compliment the recent appointment of a good number of people from the zone as federal permanent secretaries by the President.
Udeogaranya noted that “these recent conducts by President Buhari indicate that he is beginning to re-write himself from an earlier posture of sectionalism into a worthy national posture.”
He said: “We counsel Igbo ambassadors in the Buhari administration to give their best to the nation and mankind. Even though the economic fortunes of the country is at all time low, we expect our ambassadors to be a shining light at this dark period in our national life.
“While we commend President Buhari, we also encourage him to still take a giant step forward and ensure that an Igbo is appointed into the six principal offices of the nation, which will help Igbo leaders convince their kits and kin that no region is left behind in this government.” http://naijanewsroom.com/?p=46920 wombraiders see the people you want to die for. |

Romance › Re: 12 Things Men Do That Make Women Fall Deeper In Love by shizzy7(f): 12:23am On Nov 12, 2015 |
opeyemiie: Here is a list of things men should do that women really adore.
1. Planning is amazing
When a man plans, it’s almost as exciting as him proposing. Whether he organises a date, a weekend trip and an afternoon walk, all of it makes a woman happy. It shows her that he is capable of putting effort into her, and she likes it.
2. Being a great listener
Showing a woman that you’re a great listener is incredible. Remember things that the woman mentioned that she likes. Whether it’s flowers, a book, chocolates or jewellery, if you surprise your woman, it makes her feel really special.
3. Show HER some vulnerability
It’s extraordinary when a man can openly and honestly talk about his feelings with you. When he’s comfortable doing so, it’s great. It’s so great, it’s like winning the emotional lottery.
4. Please her in the bedroom
When a man can make it happen for a woman, how elated she is. A man, who wants to pleasure a woman, so she really enjoys herself, is how women define a good man. He gets an extra applause if it’s something he doesn’t ordinarily like doing.
5. Cook for her
When a man knows his way around the kitchen and is capable and confident, it’s cute. Women are suckers for the look on his face when he means business with those vegetables. Cooking takes patience and shows women that they are cherish-worthy.
6. Let’s go shopping
Let’s face it; sports are a popular hobby for most men. Well, shopping is a favourite pastime of many women. Shopping is to women what sports is to men. Shopping may not be good for women’s wallets (or their man’s), and it certainly isn’t cardio, but it absolutely is fun. When a man can shop with you and give his opinion, he’s golden.
7. It’s okay to be nerdy
Am I the only woman who not-so-secretly thinks it’s really endearing when a man is curled up on his couch with his book? When he gets all geeked out and excited about something he is reading and is not ashamed of it, it is pretty adorable.
8. Compromise is key
How many times has your man done something he doesn’t want to because you asked him to? When a man does something for his woman that he wouldn’t ordinarily want to do, it makes her heart melt. Being sweet and thoughtful always goes a long way. She so appreciates you doing something you’re not eager to.
9. Get all sporty
It’s nice to see men fired up and passionate about sports. In fact, it’s oddly exciting. When you are roaring at the TV and getting all riled up — it’s almost erotic. When your eyes light up, you become quite desirable.
10. Kisses and caresses her
Being affectionate and sweet to women goes a long way. When a man is sweet to his woman — whether he puts his arm around her when she is not expecting it, hold her hand just because, or give her an excited kiss for no reason — her heart skips a beat.
11. Love her family
Some people have an unusual family. But, your family is your family and you love them a lot. When a man gets in close with the girl’s family and makes all family members love him, he’s extra fabulous.
12. It’s okay to be dominating
Dominating us makes us sizzle in all the right places. Every woman wants a little Fifty Shades of Grey in her life. There’s a time and a place to make love, and there’s a time and a place to be more aggressive. When the man know the difference, he can make us swoon.
Just my own opinion You are joking. NUMERO-1 should be MONEY. If the guy is poor, your number 1-10 won't work. |

vooyour: hey guys I'm new to this forum. I'm a South African girl and I love Nigeria and it's people. I also wish to visit in the next few years (very expensive trip). Anyway, from what I've been reading in this forum, I can't help but get the impression that Nigerians hate us. yes I know some of you are upset because of the xenophobic attacks. To be honest, the people who do this are a very small group hooligans. we don't all do that. Anyway I think all kinds of people have their flaws. I'm afraid if I ever visit Naija I'd be scared to say I'm from SA. I just wanna know if yall really hate us. PS. I also really like some Nigerian guys but I've seen a forum with some Naija sistas attacking us. Abeg sisters don't be stingy with your guys :p Do yall hate us Nigerians that much? Read the comments on anything "Nigerian" on Kickoff, News24, sundaylive. Really, on the streets of Nigeria Nobody cares, Most of us can't even spot a foreigner except you tell us, the way you talk or you are white. We have a lot of heavy and crazy issues we are dealing with in Nigeria and hating a foreigner is not even on our list of priorities. |

I am NOT IBO but I am seriously DEAD TIRED of all the Yoruba obsessive hate on Ibos.
Just today another bastard yoruba was caught lamely attempting to spark etho-religious riots. The foolish fatherless bastard was posting from that cultist rapist owned site - Sahara reporters which is bank rolled by that drug dealing kleptomaniac tinubu who i pray to hang personally in future.
It makes me wonder that if I am tired of hearing dirty ugly lazy jealous ass Yoruba children of perdition spew their trash here on NL over the Ibos, how gaddamn awful it will be an Ibo to have these sub human reptilian satanic seeds constantly on your neck all because as Ibos you were forced to remain in one useless slave plantation.
I will bring the gas chambers to Osun.

The Tivs are fighting for their lives against the Fulanis

The Jukums are also not at peace with the Fulanis
