vheMa:I usually don't comment on political threads for fear of invective but the love life and bank account analogy got me laughing so hard my neighbours must think I'm crazy ![]() |
Mhizkel: I guess the parents who send their kids to a school named "sexy kids" want to graduate models and actors ![]() |
Mhizkel:Sexy kids? |
My childhood friend right from primary school. I was the class prefect and he was my assistant. I remember how we used to make paper models of wrestling characters and entertain the whole class with our table wrestlemania! He taught me how to do the crazy legs and running man dance and I taught him how to do the moon walk (backslide) and the toe stand; Michael Jackson's dance moves. The is almost no Van Damme movie we did not reenact in school. We saw last at a reunion in December 2012. He died suddenly after that. I miss him everyday. |
internetpo:It went like this if I remember correctly; "Bertha, lovely Bertha, you are lovely machine, and everyone who works with you will know what I mean" |
Does anyone remember Bertha?

dubbiskelly: i remember using dis to buy meat pie and a toy horse and rider back in the days. How time fliesLol! Cant forget the "cowboy vs Indian" movies we made with those horse and rider toys. |
Amazing how time flies and inlflation adjusts. I remember a classmate of mine was interrogated by the class teacher for being in possession of a five naira note! At a time when rich kids. brandished one naira notes, having five naira notes as primary school kid was unthinkable. unless u wanted to pay ur PTA levy to the bursa urself! |
I'm not much of a football fan but the OP really made my day with this one. Been laughing my head off! Seems this game is even more interesting off the pitch. |

Funny enough, there is a tribe in Edo state that has a special moi-moi delicacy: cooked straight without peeling and served with okra. U need to see how they wolf it down like it's deep fried turkey! I think it's the Imoga people of Akoko-Edo. |
I hope we have been able to learn this all important lesson: NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO WIN. What we all have is the DUTY TO PLAY OUR BEST. Great World cup it was. |
Blessed are you amongst Nairalanders! I couldnt have put it better. info@lpf: |
Cant believe the sudden rush of nostalgia. Wish I could turn back the hands of time. Who remembers "An African Night's Entertainment" with Abubakar, Mallam Shehu, Zainobe and the deviant Kyauta? Must have read that book a thousand times then! |
