Dont know why so many people are attacking the OP.

1) He has reasons to say its a good development in that all the other stations in Lagos are bearable but have you tried watching TV in the east? My goodness, it sends you into instant depression and you would need therapy to come out of it.

2)Some people are thinking its some kind of package you go aquire or something hence they are arguing that the channels can be viewed without DSTV.Thats not what the OP meant. I use DSTV and sometimes , I may not have money(maybe it expires on a weekend). I would still be able to see something on my screen instead of a blank, scrambled channel screen.

3) This effectively reduces the number of wires and cables scattered around in one's house(as I dont need to go get an anteana to view local stations.

4)Once again we thank the FTA buffs and commend them on the information they give out freely but please, live and let live. Not everyone is so inclined .Most of the people who come in and call others fools for 'throwing away' money on paytv, are the FTA guys(its their own money they choose to throw away, yeah?).

Please read what he is saying and understand where he is coming from. Not everyone that comes to talk about DSTV, Hitv, Startimes, are necessarily staff of those organisations.

All of us cant do FTA because it needs big dishes. Such may bring problems with your landlord unless you live in your own house. Not everyone has the patience to stay and track signals endlessly.So please live and let live.

I think Chidinma was the best of the lot. And I learnt she is from a poor home so all the best that she won it too.

Bottomline being, let those who dont have the time nor space nor even the patience to delve into FTA, stick with their paytv and let those who have all the above, by all means, participate in it.

too much division in the south - even in the niger delta like odilis and co. If GEJ loses and the lie of Zoning will end in 2015, PDP south will be split I guarantee in 2015 all presidential aspirants in PDP primaries will come from ALL zones( NW-NE-NC-SE-SS-SW) with a Northerner - winning.
