Hello guys, my visa was approved today Dec 19th, 2019 at US Embassy.

School: Western Kentucky University
Graduate Assistantship: $26k
Balance: $3297

Before I delve into questions I was asked. I will like to say every single I was asked where questions I had written down prior and my interview went exactly the way I prayed (I prayed against being asked SOA and I wasn't asked�


My interview questions in no particular order

V.O: How are doing
Me: I'm doing great thank you.

V.O: passport and I20 pls
Me: passed it. (At this point I wasn't having cold feet and pretty much calm. Btw he had denied two guys before me

VO: why are you goin to the US
Me: To pursue a masters degree in Chemistry @ Western Kentucky University (WKU)

VO: why WKU
Me: because WKU offers interdisciplinary specialty such as computational chem, materials chem, nanochemistry, Env Chem, Hybrid inorganic-organic polymer. (VO cuts me and said but all school offers dat) Then i said not all schools do; must schools.offer courses in the traditional fields of chemistry namely organic,inorganic, physical and analytic process. * Btw I failed to tell him WKU has an advanced materials institute dat specializes in the analysis and characterization of materials for research purposes* However he was pleased wit my response. I must also mention that when he cut me I didn't fidget rather I used it to drive home my point, I was assertive in a way dat showed I know what I was talking about.

VO: How many schools did u apply? ( Didn't ask me to name them)
Me: 4

VO: do you knw any about Kentucky?
Me: Yes I do. "WKU is in Bowling Green which is the third largest city after Louisville & Lexington. The Gov is Andrew Beshear. Motto of the state is United we stand divided we fall. ( Kentucky is bounded by Ohio River in the North and Appalachian mountains in the East - didn't remember to say dis as he was satisfied wit the aforementioned)

VO checks my i20 and said "oh you were offered GT Assitanship, so whose gonna support you
Me: My dad
VO: what does he do
Me: He is a business man. He owns an oil. & Gas coy and dey are into sales and distribution of Diesel.
He didn't ask me to show my bank statement. The only documents are asked for were my passport and I20.

VO: what are you goin to be doing after graduation
Me: I'll come back to 9ja take a new position as a researcher in our lab.
VO: what does your company do?
Me: we into Engineering and Laboratory research.

VO: I will be issuing your visa @ dis tym
Me: at dis point I couldn't believe my eyes. Beginning of 2019, I didn't know when I was gonna write GRE but I would write. Collected the white paper - I momentarily felt like a star ��.
Got to the queue to pay the reciprocity fee excused myself to d bathroom and I jst started praising God.

My advice : prepare well. Speak confidently if possible slow in order to pick ur words right and audibly. Above all prayer every single I prayed about turned out.

This is how my interview went y'all.

Till we all make it, we are all a work in progress. Remember a pregnant woman doesn't envy a nursing mother.

I was offered Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA) in Chemistry at Western Kentucky University (WKU) for Spring 2020. I'm to resume next year Jan 20, 2020 in time for my GTA orientation. I'm yet to receive my I-20 form; I would be sending my financial statement (one account used for Treasury bills and another savings acct) next week Monday.

I would like to meet anyone who schools in WKU or in Kentucky. I pray and believe it will end in praise for us all.

You need to come up with more schools except if you have decided to apply to just one(not advisable by the way).

Met the GM and he said I should meet the CEO, while waiting to see the CEO, he told the security man to tell me to see the GM, he was told I've seen him and he told the security to tell me to go home, I got sad and told dad that I'm fed up that I need to go to where I'm needed not where they think they're doing me a favor, dad sent and called both GM and CEO an SMS and calls resp but got no reply.

Meanwhile I travelled to go and secure a job in the state I served, my sister now called me that the GM told her to tell me to come see her, I felt awkward Coz I chat with him on WhatsApp and visit him often so why wasn't I called directly? I came back, went straight to see the GM and he told me the CEO has changed his mind about my salary that about 33% was slashed from it, that I should start with it.

Meanwhile the other job I got was a better offer with good incentives, dad wants me to work in that firm but I told him I'm not accepting the job but he's insisting, pls I need your advice Coz I need a place where I can work with peace of mind.

The chances things might go wrong is high since d CEO can jst wake and order 33% to be deducted from ur salary you knw why it's because they feel dey are doing u a favour and moreover ur sister is in d same coy. Go to d oda one wey dem value u wey dem want u. Explain am to ur dad but also remember you are a man in d making and should be able to make decisions dat would greatly have impact on ur bearing.
Remember dey don't want u in dat firm ur dad wants dats why dey said slash 33% because dey feel y'all are literally begging for d job.

Essentially, this law makes it legal to go to a meeting in the Civil service and have the entire meeting conducted in yoruba language, to the exclusion of any present non-yoruba speaker.

Heck, you can even no use this law to hold lectures in LASU in 100% Yoruba.

Imagine if every tribe copies this and you then need to have a credit in Igbo language to even apply to Imsu

This is vague. Does the law mean all tetiary institutions in Lagos which includes Yabatech and UNILAG and other private institutions or Lagos state owned ones only?

Can this law be held in federal secondary schools like Kings and Queens college?
