Jakumo: Thanks for checking out the Reggae legends Sholakanye. Youtube is indeed a God-send for connoisseurs of classic hits from days gone by, and even for modern-day music fans, because live footage of amazing performances is stored there, just one mouse-click away, to enjoy literally for the rest of all time.
For some reason this particular performance of Bob Marley's Concerte Jungle is my hands-down, all-time favorite video clip of the original Wailers laying down the groove. This is one time-capsule that I revisit constantly, when an infusion of Reggae is needed to lift me high.
You're welcome man.
The more popular version with bass line slightly altered and riddim altered was done to make it more attractive to the English audience as Bob was just being introduced to them at that time. The guitar solo was also re-recorded.
Jakumo: If I were on a road trip with only enough time to play just two of my favorite ever Reggae tunes, my choices would be the Morgan Heritage family delivering this Otis Redding inspired tune called "She's Still Loving Me", and a vintage clip of a youthful Bob Marley, singing his hit "Concrete Jungle", with Peter Tosh holding down on lead guitar, Aston "Family Man" Barret presiding on bass guitar, and Bunny Wailer rocking out in the percussion and backing harmonies department.
Reggae rises to a new level when the vocalist delivers those lines with real soul. Check this out, and watch how your shoe gets to tappin'n and your head gets to bobbin' up and down as you listen, no matter how you try to resist the music.

DaDoctor: Mainland high school defeated ilamoye grammar school during the 1997 edition (junior category) . I played that game at onikan stadium and it ended 4-1 in favour of mainland high school Ojo. The rain started during the half time and made one post water logged and the other dry. So the shots were blocked by the rain while the other team got bombarded 4-1. Great game
Ilamoye Grammar School from Ilasa right? Which side did you play for?

fabregas04: That baseline is something else, only God knows how it was discovered, every keyboardist/base guitarist plays it like tomorrow no dey, Majek fasek's "Man of sorrow" base line is great too.
Bro, that bassline kills me everytime, never gets old.
Yeah. Man of Sorrow very lovely bass line too. I think the bass line is something like MI SO LA LA DO LA SO LA MI LA LA LA FA LA DO DO FA MI MI TI MI .
