My favourite is Back to my roots... The bass line of this track is the best reggae bass line I've ever heard. Only the bass line of Holy Spirit by Majek Fashek comes close in my book.
Great reggae artist with loads of great tracks. Slave. Born to Suffer. That's the Way it is. House of Exile. Together as One. Different Colours. It's not easy. Romeo. etc. |

I think Praise really fancies Oluchi, he was on his feet all the while she performed her last song.
I can see why, Oluchi is really gifted but there's just something always missing in her performance and she finally found it on eviction night. A little too late.
I wish her all the best going forward, real talent. |

jasmine21: Just watching... Eyaaa Yusuf's singing is better on this elimination show. I guess it's too late in the game to realize that Yeah, he sang a lot better and he infused some fuji as well. Thank God he didn't try that his falsetto. His timing was off though, as always. I wish him all the best sha, fantastic charisma he has. |

jasmine21: I wonder too. The level of education has really dropped in Naija for Dapo not to be able to read that. In pry sch we were taught a poem about Apal'ara igunpa niye kan in Yoruba class. I totally forgot d poem but that phrase is a popular one which means Hard work or "u must work hard". He couldn't even sing Lagos boys. What's d big deal in that? Mscheew.
Funniest thing is Elizabeth is actually from Edo state Mscheew Dapo should behave himself this week. I've lost interest in him Hmm, that poem. Ise logun ishe! |

jasmine21: By the way, I loved Johnny Drille's songs. His performance was so nice the first and second. I don't know what to call his style of music but I'm enjoying it. Maybe soft rock? Alternative rock?
And funny enough in season 6, the guy came in as a producer oh. he had a studio in Benin. That style is folk. Kudos to his guitarist, he was the star for me. |

Solitin40: What's winner's problem sef?Hug you will be doing like kini and you said you are ready in love with one Solomon maybe that the reason you keep behaving like that. Girls that pretend like you are always BAD her boyfriend go dey try o too complicated chai I wonder what the issue with her is. She probably thinks her singing alone will do the job for her. Pity. |

Happy birthday Winner. I liked you from the first day I heard you sing, your vocal ability is not in doubt. Please ehn, just let go on stage and don't worry too much. It will be good too if you will drop some of your 'church girl' character and familiarise yourself more with your contestants so that you can go far in this competition. I wish you all the best always. Yours, Sholakanye. P. S I hope you get to read this and in case you don't, I have hired Falz da badguy to come read it to you in your sleep. |

jasmine21: Songs this week. You're welcome
Eli- Soul Provider by Michael Bolton Gabriel- Amazed by Lone Star Winner- First cut is the deepest by Sheryl Crow Kitay- Living on a prayer by Bon Jovi Pere- Some nights by Fun Okiemute- Still the one by Shania Twain Elizabeth- Because of You by Kelly Clarkson Dapo- Right here waiting by Richard Max Mirabel- When I need you by Celine Dion Oluchi- Happy Ending by Avril Lavine Steve- Numb by Linkin Park Blessing- Royals by Lorde Benjamin- Do you Remember by Phil Collins Yusuf- Please forgive me by Brian Adams
Group Songs
My Woman, My Everything- Patoranking & Wande Coal Kabiyesi- Dr Sid Chop my Money- Psquare All these soft rock songs sef, won't be easy to move the crowd as the beats are not as bubbly as the African contemporary from last Sunday. Contestants have their work cut out for them. I really fear for Yusuph. |

I know it's been said already but I just have to say it still.
That group performance was kinda awful, both male and female. Ah!
Terrible singing, the ladies going flat here and there, the guys stepping like nursery school assembly. There was just no harmony at all.
Didn't enjoy it one bit. |

luvmijeje: Do you guys remember Tolu and Ochuko set. They all lost out to people that are not up to them.
This is the nature of the competition How Tolu went home empty handed is still a mystery. I think the quality of contestants in general has been waning over the past few years. |

amicable09: Oh! Please, paint a picture of Solomon's face for me. I am mixing the names of the contestants up. Benjamin is the guy that came in via the wildcard. Solomon the other bearded guy that was given Psquare's Ejeajo as his song for the week. |

amicable09: What am I reading here this morning!? I hope Solomon wasn't evicted o Kai! That dude sang '7 years' like no other could have sang it and he made me fall in love with him. Let me just wait for tonight. It was Benjamin who sang 7 years old, not Solomon. Disappointing to see Solomon go if it's true. I think the contestants are trying to reduce the competition. |

jasmine21: They shouldn't have given Eli that song (Don Gongon- Burna Boy) its not fair. They could have given him a Ghanaian song to sing just like they gave Gabriel. Now he's struggling with the words & slangs.I hope he can pull it off sha, the guy is really trying.
I noticed the Project fame stage this year is small. I wonder why.. Yeah, thought he should have been given a Ghanaian song. I believe everyone of the contestants will have a hard time with the slangs and words of that song. |

Elizabeth truly love doesn't care if you be wafi or ofe-manu or Okoro... I see why you were given that song or maybe coincidence. Kitay at least you go win something if you don't win the show you win the woman. Correct Warri boy. |

Gutted to see Favour leave, should have been Dapo or Yusupgh instead. I wonder why Favour opened up that she has complex issues, I think that alongside the earlier incident with Pere may have worked against her. Dapo, cute ladies 'boy'. He will be found out soon enough. . Yusuph was tense , let's see how he does with other materials. **********************×********************×*********************** Disclaimer. jasmine21: Contestants I want saved this week: Dapo, Favour and Oluchi.
I don't really care for Yusuf to be honest. He's playful, has diction issues and thinks every song is a Fuji song urrghh! *rolling my eyes* I hope he goes all the way just so we can see a fuji artist with some 'professional' training. |
