A man I know once said in his family if a wife commits adultery, her business will crumble and she must be taken to his village to appease his family deity. But your guess is as good as mine as the same man will receive no punishment from the same deity if he commits adultery. Does this mean that African deities are patriarchal?

A friend of mine once told me, too, that if a wife cheats in his family then she will fall seriously sick, but nothing however befalls a man who commits the same offence? Once again, are African deities patriarchal?

Fair enough list. I never knew CR7 fans were this ignorant, lambasting the OP as if it was a personal list, without knowing that the list was from one of the foremost sports magazine in the world. The simple truth is that Messi is a greater player than CR7 anytime anyday. Being a bit luckier to win certain trophies as part of a team effort does not invalidate the fact that Messi's individual efforts over the years trumps that of CR7. Pained CR7 fans are blind to this fact.

In fact, I believe Ronaldo da lima should almost be at par with Messi given his truly magical abilities, while Cristiano drops to third at least for the sheer consistency of his goalscoring exploits over the years.
