Thanks chief. I've not been posting my ads on Nairaland for many months now due to personal reasons and I was shocked when this fellow called me and was talking about a PayPal transaction with him from NL.

This started yesterday night when someone called my attention to an impersonator trying to use my website name to scam him. He explained everything to me, then I had to check NL again to see for myself.

I found out that DoyenExchange, Marcfortune and Mesmer also faced the same impersonation, that was when I knew something was up.

I don't do PayPal transactions to start with, so I was shocked when Sholws was asking about a PayPal transaction.

My advice to you @sholws, do a chargeback on the transaction you did since its PayPal, or tell your bank that you did an erroneous transfer if you guys ran the transaction via Bank transfer.

I can only sympathize with you, but that will not be at the detriment of my own name.

I will speak to your lawyer when im with mine, no need to use lawyering to clear this up, will get mine and we go to court, like i said this won't go Scott free. If two people can be scammed with your own monicker, something is fishy

Now the bro is blaming nairaland saying they have a problem at the backend and even saying someone edited his chatlink on his profile page and in the afternoon he had already removed it. For your information, i saved his page and monitored.
