The federal government is currently mopping up unspent funds from MDA's. This is done at the end of every fiscal year. The implication of this is that NIs will either release the final list before the fiscal year is over or leave it till budget is passed. If the list doesn't come out this month end then it may tarry for a long while. Until 2018 budget is passed.

By the way, The NIS recruitment list is signed and sealed. Adding of new candidates ended December.The last set of names were added before Christmas. It is that way because the final list is due for release.
The total figure is way more than the number of slots advertised.
Names can only be removed but not added.

40,000 applied online. A simple Google check will reveal That's the approximate figure. All of them cannot and did not get invites. it is obvious from the number of shortlisted candidates on this thread.
I'm doubtful if twenty percent of the total number received invites.

They started replacement In January and it is still ongoing.
Don't knkw about recruitment. When was the last time you heard that any of the paramilitary agencies conducted an open recruitment? Lol.

They will still conduct open recruitment but the big question is WHEN?
That's why it is better to get in through the normal replacement.

A friend got NNPC entry level offer in 2012. He turned it down. He was offered 4m total gross package per annum. He was earning around same amount in Oando, so he decided to stay with Oando because of better growth opportunity.

Guy I did my I.T in NNPC, there is nothing like operations/administrative unit. Admin is different usually far from the plant, While operations is inside d plant.

I said someone got lucky,he will resume before the years end. I wasn't referring to the old recruitment exercise
