Quit sulking about MBBS students and out-of-this-world brilliance! I know of a pharmacy student in OAU who had 82.1 in the pre-degree programme,and she gladly chose pharmacy. A university/polytechnic/COE is a repository of students - Excellent,Good,Average et cetera,medical schools are no exceptions! How did you come up with illogical conjecture of Medical school having the best students in Nigeria? Have you tried the students of Law,engineering...? 1 Like |

Still struggling with the management over fees hike,a room(Room 104,Block 7) in Awolowo Hall,one of the male halls of residence in OAU accidentally caught fire on July 9,2014. Anybody on OAU campus should help us confirm this,please. I hope the management doesn't use this to victimize students who are still on campus despite the school been on an indefinite strike. |

FrancisTony: LOL! That's a pure lie and I won't believe you all.A college is quite different from a faculty. In OAU,pharmacy and law have separate faculties,Biochemistry is a department under Faculty of science. Nursing is under college of health sciences,and I'm not sure if dentistry now have her own faculty or it's still under COHS - College of Health Sciences. To the OP,I'll say Dentistry and Nursing are the closest to Medicine. Biochemistry,Microbiology,Physiology,Anatomy et cetera should be behind Dentistry and Nursing when it comes to closeness with Medicine! Pharmacy is on another page... |

otokx: FG has refused to fund education preferring the super eagles instead. Federal universities all over Nigeria are increasing their fees in response to the FG action....and if FG should fund education,we Nigerians will say FG has refused to fund sports. If FG switch attention to sports,we'll say FG has refused to fund.... The truth is,there's a long list of sectors that needs funding from the FG and obviously not all will(can) be properly touched. |
