It's called ''diplomacy''! All the school management wanted from the students was the green light to shutting down the school - an inside-school protest and the students fell for it. The increment of the fees is actually not the problem, but the cruel 320% increase is. Even Pythagoras wouldn't have come up with such a figure. . . Now that we've found ourselves in an impasse, all we can do is ''watch'' and ''pray''. Time is fast ebbing away, but the destiny of many that'll be distorted because of the new fees is now the team's priority. |
Yoney007: Let the needful be done...and the ''needful'' is? |
Great! Great!! Greeaaat!!! A brilliant and explanatory write-up. |
ueskman: smiles, take it easy bro.Is the planning happening in Pluto? I can't see any planning. ...Goodluck with the ''planning'' anyways! |
jaryeh: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy na.Yeeeaaaah! All ''frivolities'' and no ''exigencies'' makes this thread a _________? |
Shori : Victory in Japanese. || Segun : Victory in Yoruba. |

Great double save from the Algeria goalkeeper! |
Algerians opening up the German's defence well and creating chances. I pray we see an upset. . . #Algeria |
Slimani! Damn... Offside. |
I must admit that with the quality of our players, beating France sounds like an ''impossible'' thing to do. I really appreciate the effort of the lads during the France game. Mikel's blushes were exposed immediately after Onazi was taken off due to injury, and that cost us... Enyeama was an almagam of the ''hero'' and the ''villain'' but his saves before and after the goals were eye catching! Oshaniwa,Ambrose and Omeruo are a triumvirate of an ''average'' defence, per se. Yobo tried... Yes! He tried but Nigerians, just a few though, may not be able to see beyond his own goal(mistake). Musa was absent throughout the entire match, probably he was among the spectators! Emenike&Osaze were too rigid... Moses couldn't fill Babatunde's shoes...how execrable! Keshi's substitution,Reuben, was short of ideas and tactical approach to the game. . . Come rain, come shine... I'm flying high with the Eagles! #SuperEagles |
acenazt: Bros stop lying na. Shey na now you call tell me say Mikel and yobo Try well well? What exactly is the lie? |
Shori: ...and who else noticed Mikel was like a ''puppet'' in this match? The injury of Onazi exposed Mikel's incompetence in the mid-field and gave the French men an ''area'' to explore. Sadly we lost, but we put up a good fight. Enyeama,Omeruo,Babatunde and Oshaniwa[sic] are my Nigerian players of the tournament! #SuperEagles!!! |
With the hope of reaching the world cup's quarter finals dashed by a Paul Pogba's header and a Joseph Yobo's own goal... I'd like to know who your Nigerian player(s) of the tournament is/are. Mine is Vincent Enyeama(GK),Juwon Oshaniwa(LB),Kenneth Omeruo(CB) and Micheal Babatunde(FW)... |

Pennywise: Can we be friends? Sharrap. Get out of here go look for your play mate. Pennywise: Where are all the pharmDs on NL and I dont mean students. This is your thread. Come back and let me tell u as it is. Pennywise: 'dr'andrew or drered, the PharmD with a high 'IQ' I see u lurking around this thread once more. Come and teach your fellow mice how to bell this cat. What was your jamb score by the way. It was high but not enuff to read medicine? Ode. Know your enemy before u take on him. Foool. Pennywise: Go bring all your PharmD brothers and sisters. Your skull is so thick it is impervious to rational exchange. I am prepared to employ even more extreme measures and tactics. Foool. You're here ranting while the B.pharm,PharmD,MDs,Nurses and allied professionals are busy with their day-to-day activities... I think I get what your problem is - jealousy and execrable level of comprehension! I hope you change,I seriously hope you do. |
Pennywise: So na only you waka come? Is that all u can figure out in a whole epistle. I urge u to try harder.I only pick up ''sense'' from posts and jettison the crap there! I hope you're sensible enough to get the message. . . Au revoir! |
Pennywise: I have no wish to burst your bubble. But to all the aspiring pharmD and second rate intellectually bereft pharmacists on this thread who feel they are nothing without a doctor tag I am afraid u will forever remain nothing. U cannot be redeemed.... I hope and pray you quit displaying your tomfoolery on a forum like nairaland or any other social network. Why is it so hard for you to see beyond the ''Dr'' tag thing? It's ''professor'' not 'proffessor' and ''grammar'' not ''grammer''! ...and your punctuation is awful. Work on that lad! |
Ndababa: Over here Doctors prescribe, Pharmacists scrutinize the prescriptions for drug reactions, bioavailability, contraindications n whatnot. In the event of possible adjustments, the Pharmacist writes the Doctor to suggest a better alternative since they - The pharmacists - are better aware of information on drugs. Base on the suggestion, the Doctor may adjust his prescription, or gives reasons why he wants the patient to go with his initial prescription. At the end, the patient becomes the major beneficiary of that healthy synergy! The most sensible reply on this thread so far... |
ACM10: Why are you trying to appear clever by latching on one aspect of my comment? Do you think that thorough knowledge of Pharmacology prepares you enough to treat patients? What about Pathology? Can you treat a patient without knowing the pathological basis of the disease? You are picking my points selectively. That's a sign of intellectual weakness.....and yeah I'm being selective because I can only reply the sensible part of your replies. The parts I discard either doesn't make sense or ... |
ACM10: Either you are coming from the mars or you are willfully ignorant for you to deny 'mini clinics', 'side labs' and 'blood transfusion' malpractices by the pharmacists. Your colleagues in the trade must be laughing at you. I can give you names of pharmacy shops manned by a trained pharmacists where the above malpractice is the order of the day. In Benue state, some pharmacist are even pushing the envelope further by doing some surgical procedures. Denying the obvious makes you appear dishonest.Okay. . I'm waiting for the names. Maybe Pluto, because Mars is closer to planet Earth. I've not heard of any case like that in Nigeria. If such a thing happened as you said, atleast the newspapers and TV stations will have a report on it... You can save me the time checking google by giving me links to where I can read the stories about pharmacists running mini-clinics and laboratories.... |

That's a sign of intellectual weakness.and who's talking about a pharmacist ''treating'' a patient? |
Pennywise: Its a relation. I went to visit him. I saw 2 others on drip with a young pharmD brandishing stetoscope. What insult.what an interesting Lie. . .more power to your elbow! |
ACM10: The catchword there is NITTY-GRITTY. Even Physiotherapists/Nurses/Radiographers do study these courses too, but not in details. Does pharmacy students do practicals with cadaver? I mean dissecting cadaver region by region. It is only Anatomy/MedSurg students that does it....and now you're telling me Medical students do pharmacology in details more than the pharmacy students? To your question,No. |
ACM10: For the first time we are on the same side of the debate.Tsk! Pharmacy students take Biochemistry,Anatomy,Pharmacology and Physiology with Pathology the only exception. . . Come up with something ''better'' please. . . |
Pennywise: Going to other well structured countries to import corrupt variants of pharmacy programs cannot help the practice of pharmacy in Nigeria. It will be abused as we have seen. Pharmacies are being turned to mini clinics with 'side labs' on account of 'pharmD' They are even transfusing blood without the slightest hint of diagnosis and treatment of transfusion reactions. This is creating a regulation nightmare in some places.I..... I'm stupefied! ''mini clinics''? ''side labs''? ''blood transfusion'' in Nigeria? Do you really have to come up with conjectures just to denigrate the pharmacy profession? Where did the transfusion illegally happen? When did it happen? It's not about the ''Dr'' title thing, but meeting up to international standards! |
