tunde1200:This is exactly how they will treat the "We are not Igbos" |
Lavor234:You don't believe he's an armed robber? When all the gang member already confessed that he was their leader |
If Tinubu can do 10% of what Alex Otti is doing in Abia state Nigeria would be counted among advanced economies of the world. |
Xxxylxxxx:This suggests you are working in one small, outdated organization. A 2.2 graduate from NOUN is academically stronger than a first-class graduate from any other Nigerian university. NOUN certificates are highly sought after and recognized by organizations and academic institutions in Europe and America. |
RealityKings:Yea, although it occurred in 2018, there are important lessons to be learned. Just because someone is a medical doctor, Engineer, accountant or lawyer doesn't mean they can't also be involved in armed robbery. |
In 2018, Dr. Ola Jimade, a practicing medical doctor, was caught leading a violent robbery gang in Abuja. This incident underscores the need to be careful about sharing financial information with professionals or religious leaders such as doctors, pastors, imams, engineers, pharmacists, accountants, lawyers, police officers, or military personnel. Any of them might be a leader of a violent robbery gang leader like Doctor Ola. Excerpts: The police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have busted a robbery gang allegedly led by a medical doctor and the proprietor of Vital Care Hospital, Kubwa, Abuja, Dr. Ola Jimade. Northern City News learnt that while five members of the gang were arrested, Jimade is still on the run. Those arrested were Sunday Okhomode, aka Sunny-Momoh, 30; Meshak James, 23; a painter, Amusu Koku, 28; a printer, Kunle Obajemi, 49; and a goldsmith, Suleiman Isa, 26. Parading the suspects on Tuesday in Abuja, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Sadiq Bello, explained that the arrest of the suspects was sequel to a reported case of armed robbery at a house in Maitama, sometime in November last year. According to him, a BMW X6 SUV, a large quantity of gold and other valuables worth millions of naira were carted away by the robbers. Bello said following the report, the command’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad commenced discreet investigation, which led to the arrest of the five suspects and the recovery of the stolen SUV..... https://punchng.com/fct-police-bust-robbery-gang-allegedly-headed-by-medical-doctor

It's always amusing to me when people assume that obtaining a degree from NOUN is easy. Most graduates from conventional universities wouldn't survive 5 semesters at the National Open University of Nigeria. In Nigeria, NOUN is unmatched in upholding academic standards and discipline. There are no opportunities for bribing lecturers or cheating, unlike other universities where grades can be bought by warming a lecturers bed or fueling his car |
Someone appointed by Tinubu must have embezzled the hyena ![]() |
It will never be well with Tinubu and his supporters |
That's economic sabotage and ignorance. Local farmers will suffer huge loses. |
As I saw 3 kids, I thought someone has brought one of my uncles story to nairaland.com. in the case of my uncle, some family of the girl kicked against it because he was 44 and the girl was 22. They abandoned the marriage and my uncle married the girls friend who was a virgin and 20 years. After some months people started spotting my uncle in different hotels with the first girl he was supposed to marry. Uncle got married to her friend and turned her to a sidechick. Allow ur sister bro, there's alot of behind the scenes that take place in a woman's life that most men will never understand. |
Peter Obi stands as the singular politician capable of transforming Nigeria's future. His practical experience in management and business, combined with his firm stance against vote-buying and public fund misappropriation, makes him an exceptional and unmatched candidate. |
The Supreme king of Yorubas have spoken, he has more information about Yorubas than any other yoruba person alive today. The amount of insults the Ooni receives online by miscreants from the south west is mind boggling for a tribe that claims to respect elders |
You are right, they intentionally slow the internet speed down |
Talkingpen1:Tinubu is not a Muslim, either is he a Christian or a traditional worshiper. Dude just flows to any direction that offers more |
This is a welcomed development. Ideally, I would have preferred my children to learn Igbo from birth, but since my fiancée is Ibibio, it seems they will end up speaking both Igbo and Ibibio. |
hkidola00:Bro worse things are happening in our education system. |
Raf4:I am not trying to rewrite history, my grandfather, father and uncles served in the Biafran war. I possess more factual knowledge about the war than those who likely rely on biased narratives from prejudiced sources.. BTW, the Igbo is completely complete, we extend brotherhood to those who recognize it. There are Igbos in Equatorial Guinea, there are Igbos in Cameroun there are Indigenous Igbos in Gabon. All Igbos outside Nigeria proudly recognize their Igbo root. We are not forcing anyone to identify as Igbo. Never! |
Zico5:The Igbo is not a tribe, the Igbo is a nation. A nation with many tribes and tribes with many dialects. Every ethnic group from Benin down to the oceans were all Igbos and regarded as Igbos until the Civil War happened and some of them changed to different ethnic groups to escape persecution, marginalisation targeted at Igbos and to benefit from handouts by the Nigerian Government. |
Bekermann:Are you still unaware that propaganda has long been a weapon in warfare? During the civil war, there were numerous accounts of federal troops disguising themselves in Biafran colors to commit heinous crimes against communities loyal to the Biafran struggle, aiming to sow discord and mistrust in those communities. This was a deliberate strategy used in the Biafran war. |
yoruboid:What about skull mining and ritual killing business? |
The South-South and South-East regions of Nigeria are essentially one people only divided by those with selfish motives to foster discord. Research across Nigeria consistently shows these regions align closely or similarly on all metrics. |
reality1010:Una no fit mobilize protest go there office go break the marketing manager leg? That what we did in Apo before we had peace |
In Nigeria, NOUN is unmatched in upholding academic standards and discipline. There are no opportunities for bribing lecturers or cheating, unlike other universities where grades can be bought by warming a lecturers bed or fueling his car |
The rising cost of living is directly fueling the surge in crime and insecurity all thanks to a certain drug peddling miscreant who says it's his turn. |
edgecution:Ode, tell your blood letting Soyinka to come rip what he sowed. Was Soyinka not the same violent person who invaded a radio station with a gun in his university days to stop them from announcing a winner in an election? What's the difference between him and the cultists he has been mentoring over the years? |
Slytiger: ![]() If abakaliki people are not Igbos are they Yorubas from Osun.? or Oyo? I've stayed in Parts of Ondo state occupied by ilaje people, their dielect is different from Yorubas from Oyo and the ones from Lagos. Does that make ilaje people Igbos from Anambra or Hausas from Bauchi? |
The federal government just had to build one small hospital under SDG in Abia state for Otti to commission so that they get some shine from the wonders Otti is performing in Abia state |
