tonyinfinity:was Bola Ahmed Tinubu not the most toxic critic of Goodluck Jonathans administration? Did he not sponsor countless protests against Jonathans policies? Was Good luck Jonathan a northern Muslim president? Did Tinubu saw anything Good in Jonathan or Obasanjo's Administration? Kindly take your southern support nonsense and shove it up ur a... ![]() |
The awakening taking place in Northern Nigeria is heart warming. Tinubu has succeeded in uniting the northern Christians and Muslims with bad Governance and mismanagement of the economy, they have now realised that bad leadership affects everyone irrespective of their faith. Gone are the days when Northerners are deceived in the name of religion by their religious and political leaders and told to support candidates on religious grounds. Northern Muslims have become increasingly vocal about elections not being an Islamic principle but a manipulative concept that keeps them impoverished. Modified: Northerners do not oppose a Southern Nigeria presidency rather it's Southerners who fights a president from Southen Nigeria. Was Bola Ahmed Tinubu not the most toxic critic of Jonathans presidency?....a follow southerner? Bola Ahmed Tinubu sponsored countless protests against the policies of Jonathans administration including subsidy removal. Bola Ahmed Tinubu ensured Jonathan was removed from office in 2015... Was Jonathan a Northern Muslim president? Or is Tinubu not a Southerner? |
AfonjaScud:Whose fault is it that anything your Tinubu touch dies . Look at the state of the economy after just a few months under his influence; look how frustrated you are ![]() |
Chrisrare:Huh |
It's a widely acknowledged fact that good fortune seems to accompany Peter Obi wherever he goes, just like how a man's shadow sticks with him wherever he goes. The Nigerian national football team clinched victory in a challenging match against South Africa, when Peter Obi was in Ivory Coast, lending his support and transferring his good luck to the team. Had he been present today, the Super Eagles would likely have emerged victorious. On the flip side, Tinubu seems to attract misfortune wherever he ventures and with anything he touches, stifling progress and extinguishing any glimmer of hope. ![]() |
Exactly, Tinubu's bad luck and corruption cost Nigeria the AFCON trophy. |
Tinubu's badluck is responsible for Nigeria's lost |
Provide jobs for people and criminality will diminish |
Obierika:Myopic and shallow-minded will expect everything in this country to always make sense and to have a logical explanation, yet events here persistently defy logic everytime, yet their narrow mindset remains fixated on the illusion that everything should be plausible. Think man! Think! ![]() |
Peppysco:My answer is obviously yes hence the examples I provided. If imported cement is cheaper than our locally produced cement what makes you think imported crude oil won't be cheaper for Dangote than local crude? I hope you're not suggesting that you believe every imported item should inevitably be more expensive than its locally-produced equivalent |
fergie001:It was supposed to be launched last month |
coputa:This is not true, the refinery was initially designed specifically for refining Nigerian crude, it will have to be modified to process crude from other sources. |
Peppysco:Imported cement is cheaper than Nigerian cement, same thing with rice, poultry, fish e.t.c |
UptownVibes:I agree with you that Tinubu's aimless economic policies have plunged Nigerians into deeper poverty. |
FarmPlanetNG:Only if you know the amount demanded for freight costs alone. |
I laughed very hard when Reno the dumbo posted that the reason Dangote is getting Crude oil outside the shores of Nigeria for his refinery in Lagos was because Nigeria's crude oil have already been contracted far into the future. And we have a quota from OPEC.... ![]() As usual, many fell for his senseless, baseless and nonsensical assertions without bothering to verify or ask critical questions like. How will a refinery that was conceptualized, designed and built to refine Nigerian crude oil not have adequate provisions for Nigerian crude oil supply? Well, the real gist and the crux of the matter is that the federal government refused to accept naira payments for crude oil sales to Dangote refinery, insisting that Dangote pay only in dollars. Despite Dangote's reservations about the government's motive for requesting foreign currency in a domestic transaction where naira should be the only legal tender , the federal government remained adamant, demanding payment solely in dollars. Also, the federal government mandated that Dangote Refinery cover the freight costs for vessels selected by government cronies, equivalent to the rates charged by overseas vessels, along with port charges and landing costs—all payable in dollars. After crunching the numbers , the management of Dangote Refinery concluded that sourcing crude oil from outside Nigeria from far away USA would result in lower costs. Thus, they decided to abandon the Nigerian crude, leaving it for Tinubu and his cronies to drink. ![]() Modified: Importing many items proves more cost-effective than sourcing them locally. Examples include cement, rice, poultry, fish, and more.... I will write about rice one day, how FG in collusion with "local rice farmers" took a bag from 7k to 70k. ![]() |
Wait, you bought a 1997 Camry in 2024? A jalopy that's been around for 27 years? What's the thought process there? ![]() What's wrong with you man ? |
Anyone who asks these questions will be labeled igbo and an obedient. ![]() |
visaclick:It's because they lack logical reasoning, why steal all the money for the development of the country when you will still die and leave all the monies behind |
Bobloco:Exactly, where are the palliatives |
The promised student loan touted as one of the gains of subsidy removal seems to have gone south with billions looted for it's implementation How many students have actually received this loan? |
Big baby Ronaldo when will you grow up and act matured like Messi. |
Tinubu minions have flooded this thread with their biased and trash analyses again just as they did when naira was devalued by Tinubu and plunged Nigerians into deeper poverty. Tinubu and his cronies don't have the nation's best interests at heart; their primary focus is to mop up all incoming foreign currency for themselves, which ultimately harms the value of the naira. Basic economics details how scarcity will increase demand..... Nowhere in the world does a government forcibly convert citizens' currency, especially when it's been declared. |
Given the current trajectory of events in our country, the 2027 elections may become unnecessary. Peter Obi stands to make history as the first president elected by unanimous decision. |
garykoeman:Go and say this in any market in the country wearing Tinubu's insignia. |
Bilabong:Meaning you would've been among the people that will roast him if Nigeria had lost ![]() |
Super Eagles wingback, Ola Aina has reacted to his penalty shootout miss against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals. On Wednesday night, Nigeria defeated South Africa 4-2 in a penalty shootout to get to the AFCON final. The semi-final match finished in a 1-1 stalemate after 120 minutes. Aina missed his spot-kick during the shootout, kicking the ball over the crossbar. However, Stanley Nwabali made two saves to ensure Jose Peseiro’s side advanced to the final. Makinaki:Don't say this out of ignorance. I live amongst the Fulanis, they are generally good people with few bad eggs. There are Fulanis who are Christians, some of their women are married to southerners including Igbos. |
