Emmabyte:I've noticed that insecurity issues are treated lightly by the security agencies in the northern part of the country. If this ambush had happened anywhere in southern Nigeria, the community would've been sacked and razed down by the military. Even the EFCC go as far as carrying out night raids in university hostels consistently for arrests but their approach and that of other security agencies shifts significantly when operating in the north....I guess this has alot to do with the civil behavior of the average southner |

Chants of Allahua akbar(Allah is the greatest) can be heard as well as music and dancing. There was no mention by the social media user who uploaded the video regarding the fate of the soldiers involved. 1 Like

Tinubu will never be a nationalist president in the likes of Yar'Adua,Obasanjo or Goodluck Jonathan. He's just a regional ethnic champion forced on the Nigerian people. The report on the award of contract for a coastal highway from Lagos to Calabar clearly indicates that the supposed coastal highway award done by Tinubu was solely for the construction of a road in Lagos state and nothing more, but to make it appear nationalist they termed it "award of Lagos to Calabar coastal highway" to present it with a nationalistic facade.. It raises questions as to why the entire project wasn't awarded altogether at once, splitting the contract it into different segments to cover various sections of the country the road traverses, or even starting from the Calabar end of the coastal highway would have been more nationalistic. Why award only the portion of the road in Lagos state with federal government's funds. Tinubu is only interested in attracting infrastructural development to Lagos state alone at the detriment of other religions, he's a regional champion 2 Likes |
