Desperately wading through neck-high sludge surrounded by trash, rubble and filth, a pair of homeless Filipino men begin the search for their belongings hours after a catastrophic fire savaged hundreds of shanty town houses.
These pictures of devastation show the appalling aftermath of a dawn fire which tore through a settlement in the Philippines, leaving up to 3,000 people homeless.
The blaze in Maysilo village, near Manila, started early on Thursday morning and obliterated the residential district in the night, destroying hundreds of houses.
Firefighters say the destructive fire started at a row of squatter houses and is thought to have been caused by an exploding liquefied petroleum gas tank.

As far as I know everyone has a theory but no one is providing a solution to the problem, Like Mandingo said it is all schematics, We can spend a lifetime debating over the finer points rather than tackling the issues raised.

It is easy to see that Ghadaffi has been pushed to the wall,  This  is a man at the end of his tether,  grasping and clutching at anything to survive.

Nollywood as it stands today is for the Igbos and it only showcases the Igbo culture whether you are gored by the truth or not. Your industry does not represent me as a Nigerian. I have watched behind the clouds, cock crow at dawn, Ripples, Checkmate and can categorically tell you that these were true representation of the Nigerian people as most ethnic groups were represented and with varied cultural stories.

Nollywood is the most "tribalistic" industry in Nigeria and they go unchecked because if anyone says bleep, then the Igbos would jump on them waving their Biafran flag shouting marginalisation as it is evident in most political threads on this site.

Nailed it on the head here. That Russia and China did not vote does not mean they do not support the intervention. If you look closely, they both have Authoritarian Governments. What do you think would happen if these two countries openly support the coalition when they practise little or no form democracy Their citizens will most definitely push for a change in their respective countries.
