Faith without works we all know is as good as dead. Faith not held in a pure conscience will lead to a shipwreck.
Faith is not a mental shortcut but a mental booster.
Religion / Re: Corona Virus Humbles World Religion And Exposes Their Weakness by Sibrah: 9:44pm On Mar 19, 2020
There are many senseless assumptions in this post. Some persons have survived the virus so far and that is in contradiction to the part that says the whole world may be wiped out before the second coming of Jesus.

Reading further I realized what OP is ranting about is more about blaming religious activities for our plight in Africa.
that's wrong, in fact the faking and feigning of spirituality is the real challenge. A goes to church on Sunday and hears a balanced and sound message that discourages bribe but on Monday morning decides to give bribe. Do we blame religion, the pastor, God or the man for this 180 degree deviation from a sound and balanced doctrine? The man is clearly the fault here. Before religion came weren't we naked and selling ourselves to white men?
Weren't we sacrificing ourselves to god of the land to appease them to help stop crude oil from coming out the land?

Religion is the solution but has to be applied deligently and not halfheartedly like we are doing.

We acknowledge God when we want to blame Him but doubt his existense when faced with God's instruction. That's the problem.

Politics / What If We Spent N1.7T On Power Like This? by Sibrah: 7:32am On Jan 24, 2020
https://www.nairaland.com/5648241/el-rufai-power-sector-gulped-n1.7

Imagine the headline today about Nigeria spending N1.7T on power sector in 3 years reading a different thing like " 1.7 million homes to get N1m each ".

Imagine you have that 1 million naira in your pocket.

I could buy a good gen set and fuel it for 8 hours a day for 3 years. With 150k, I have my gen set. with N750/day of fuel, I can have my gen fueled for 6-8 hour. That comes to about 280k a year. 3 years of that is 840k.

OR

I could go green and get solar panels of N250k (1.5kw), batteries(8kw/hr) of 450k and finally get inverter and controller with another 150k.
This can give me solid 7 hours of power a day for 5 years when batteries alone may need changes. I stand to be corrected on the solar aspect, gurus in the house can shed more light on this.

With these options I can have light without one useless estimated bill system that gives darkness in exchange for huge bills and national budget.

What do brilliant Nairaland members think?

The man is insensitive. So he couldn't address the persecution issue CAN raised or even popular ones like govt of states building mosques or obstruction of public roads when praying.

These are the people who use their titles and grammar to confuse multitudes into believing Christianity is the opposite of Islam or out to get them.
They have been made to believe that Christianity/Christians are their own devils/his agents respectively. Sad. His professor title should be properly checked.

The muslims even build mosques with govt money that's not in their care and we never heard about stopcorruption#.

You can't be serious I guess, a basic cpu can compute about 1840 massive mathematical calculations before you blink your eye, if I then make it core I5, before you think of sending a nerve charge into your brain, it would have completed 5 transactions. So please tell me something else.
The speed of these systems are tied to ram, structure of app, and storage speed. There is need for orderliness in transactions.

Ogbeni first and foremost you should understand that each bank has it's personal and dedicated software whose online intricacies are known only to them
Most banks run on web applications while others on installable apps that are upgraded every now and then to ensure non-compromise of their integrity.

However these platforms are united by switches like Insterswitch's Quickteller, SystemSpec's REMITA, or the basic NIBSS switch that also owns Ebills and oversees the BVN while Gori handles the clearing platform.

So their apps find a way to integrate these online plug-ins for seamless interface.

But for you to be enquiring on behalf of a MFB without knowing this basics shows that your intent is fishy.
Looks like you want to know what it feels like to be on Interpol's list.

Please stick to BetNaija and dating apps.
It is too early in the year to devote mental energy for unethical hacking.

Go and hack your landlord's daughter's Snapchat instead.

Lalasticalala please help a brother.

Some of them are ex-bank IT support staff who don't know shit about IT other than cramming dumps to get certification and connected employment. Some are more concerned about being a dandy or stylish dresser. Banking industry is an industry filled with them.

The main thing when appraising issues like these is self sustainability. Are we self-sufficient? Nigeria is like a 6-in-1 country so it is easy to be the biggest in certain aspects but can our effort cover our needs? OP please answer.
