OK. But come to think of it o, this BVN thing is flawed. It is flawed in the sense that one man can still have multiple bvn attached to multiple accounts. Just do it across different banks and claim you were unbanked or without account hitherto. As long as the fingerprints aren't fed into a supercomputer that checks every account holder against all other existing account holder, it is highly flawed. 3 Likes 4 Shares |

iyke926:People don't realize we are like 6 of the poorest 20 nations in Africa that have been forcefully merged together. Our overall cumulative budget may have increased by a factor of 6, but so is our expenses also, therefore our status as one of the poorest 20 african nations remains, only as a bigger country. Nothing really changed. So many dull thinkers in Nigeria. And that explains the OP idea. He want the privilege loan paying student in Canada are getting but he is enjoying huge school fee subsidy in Nigeria unknowingly. He barely pays tax like Canadians but expect the oil money to keep coming in to pay him for doing nothing. 1 Like |

Nigerian students deserve nothing. What do we contribute to govt other than enjoy endless subsidies. Fed uni student enjoy fee subsidy by up to 90%, Petrol subsidy is there, Forex subsidy is also there, power has been subsidized for two months but no smart student has noticed that. All our own stipends has been used as subsidies. Whereas Canadians pay heavy fee via a loan system that makes them take loans then payback when they start working. They also pay hefty tax while working. So what does the Nigerian students do for their own govt? You gain a highly subsidized admission, join cult and do crime, few who make into civil service become corrupt, some are just using their student status for high class prostitution. Yet we want to lay claim to what other serious nations are laying claim to. It is well. 1 Like |
