I dont know if i am wrong, but is fuel subsidy removal the only way to cut down on our excesses? what about our reccurent expenditure?

please can anyone explain the full procedure in activating airtel's bis on blackberry tour, i was formerly on mtn bis. I have sent the appropriate message and received confirmation that my bis has been activated but i can't still browse with my phone. On opening my browser i get the message, contact your service provider for browser configuration service book entries, and my edge is in small letters. I am far from airtel's office now, please i need your contribution on how to solve this and browse.
