@sikowitz17 @ugo4u @damibjs and every other person that can give treatment to this.

My left eye is blurry with no redness or colour blindness. I can see clearly with my two eyes and my right eye, but when I close my right eye my left eye becomes blurry. Also I can see with it and can even walk fine with it. So my question is can this disqualify me?

I was at the last DSSC screening and I managed to escape it by cramming the letters I was asked to read before closing my right eye. Now peradventure I manage to escape it at the screening, won't they get to know at Jaji?
lol once you don enter you don enter... manage do am again...if you can get in, you’ve gotten In
Except if you now decide to leave and make it obvious to them and they’ll discharge you... but if you keep it low and don’t show or tell anybody about it..no problem

I have gained so much from this thread and it will be out of place if I don't chip in some few words too ......pls and pls make sure your documents tally i mean your age make sure the age you have in doc (A) is the same with doc (B) go to the bank now and make some adjustments if you have discrepancies in your bvn. this is the main reason most of us if not all were screened in serti during documents check
lol people like to start any process they want to when they see their names... some clowns want to start jogging when they see their names... some want to start exercising when they see their names and some will want to go to the bank when they see their names.. fortunately they will see it but unfortunately the time frame would now be an issue and they won’t be able to make the adjustments and it’d cost them the exercise

Its at the discretion of the board, they might wave it.... But my experience on course, 46 its boils down to different factors, some were asked to go get affidavit to support there claim, but my state the officer that screened our credentials has no issue, a guy from my state was 28 already and he wasn't flag, where as some state with same issue were flagged so they were left at the mercy of the board secretary
like I said earlier bro.. depends on the officer that checks your state... if he’s calm and soft he might wave it off.. but some people... and that captain jinadu is always in charge of my state.: no nonsense man

Any SSC attendee last year should tell us their experience concerning this subject.
People were hardly screened out for age discrepancies for Ssc... people who’s documents carried another age and waec carried another were infact helped by the board secretary..he gave them time to go to town to get their avidavits but that was because he had a kind heart... the secretary for the next set might be a stone cold officer and you can’t tell.. so it’s best too get all the avidavits before going so that you can tender it as soon as they notice it Cos they will..

For the question about the President of Burundi, what should have been the correct answer? I don't think I have heard about such country b4?

Can you also pls throw more light on this pysch test?
baba there are no right or wrong answers in a psyche test..they study behavioral patterns and he was maybe looking for reactions or something..everybody in y state scored 0 but still resumed cadet training... it’s all tricks and stuffs

e no too make sense oo, many people that still have some months to spare will be weeded out, but that guy own surprise me how e scaled through.
boss if na months, they overlook it for Ssc sometimes too... depends on who checks your documents..some officers dey overdo.. last time one female captain.. check my documents lemme go she started asking me if I smoke igbo and was asking me why my nails were dirty..that one and her colleague captain jinadu weren’t taking any chances... some other officers weren’t as through..once they check it and declear that you passed it... they hardly revisit...so it’s basically praying to meet someone that doesn’t have problem
The same way during medicals.. the doctor might realize he made a mistake and beg your pardon then go ahead to redo it while some will know and give you that “that’s your luck” look

I’ve always wanted to ask... which force is this... they are stationed in the Northeast and also carry ammunitions.. I see them a lot in videos and they were in that video on the attack of the convoy of the borno state governor..

Bro, stop mentioning me in your attempt to fault the Nigerian Army. I have been to at least two screening exercises, and i can emphatically say that the Army endeavours to maintain a standard during medicals, especially those that could put the life of the candidate at risk during training.

I still maintain that, whoever comes in through the "back door" after screening or during training is medically fit to a certain degree. The Army expends a lot in training cadets, so the last thing they want is having them die due to issues that could be avoided from the onset.

We cannot be asking for a transparent Army from one corner of our mouth and still be making subtle comments that promote unfairness in the system from the other corner of our mouth.

Cheers bro.

Even navy sef.. people that know what they are doing don’t hustle to be shortlisted on the final list Cos that’s very steep.. they hustle to get the letter a particular office releases to some “special set of candidates” that they’ll present at the Gate in onne and resume cadet training..

I was told that some people who never attended the interview came a month to the training and they were like, they thought they will just give them uniform and office to start work and few even ran away during the course of the training. Now, Imagine people that were passionate about this job that were dropped?
omo are you sure about this? I didn’t hear anything of sort ooo.. but this country!!

But Definitely this kind connect Nah for the BOSSES wey dey Defence HQ coz a 4end of mine told me that His Mother's Relative who is a Current GOC told him that He has to Try pass Medicals 1st, then afterwards he will finish it up from there
they say this Cos it’s easier to help when you’ve passed medicals already.. but the issue that caused you to fail medicals mustn’t be a serious issue... if it’s heart or bp... they won’t do it.. but height; BMI, dental!! All those ones are easy to work on

According to the Video, He was sponsored through his University Education by the Nigerian Army as he happens to be a Graduate of NMS.....

Probably that was a Contributing Factor
there was a time when Nms discontinued their enrollment from the school straight to military service.. some were sent to nda after to further while some were allowed to go to civil Unis.. I believe he was one of the lucky ones to get sponsored Cos he was one of the best graduating or something like that..na still connect help and cos last last he would have had to reach out to some senior men for them to overlook the age and course of study...like I said, anything is possible in the military when you know the right people
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by sikowitz17: 9:34pm On Aug 03, 2020
So apparently it’s kind of possible to fail medicals and still find your name on the final list.. if you know who to call..

Weve all lost people fam...that shouldn’t be the reason why you wouldn’t pursue your dreams.. if that’s really what you want.. in the last 1 year alone my friends have died.. but that doesn’t mean the same fate will befall me... and if it does... nagode

Na here I find true Nigerians! Very ready to pay the supreme price.
lol bro all these things na still talk until we reach there... pass out come go NE and witness first ambush! Na that time we go really know wetin Dey sup... all we have na resolve now.. we’ve resolved to do it... but till we reach there... as those soldiers and officers will say... whatever you think you know, you don’t know anything...

I met one air force officer in the bus I boarded to kaduna for course 45 and I only knew his identity when he bought job for some frsc officers who were trying to extort the bus driver on the road at an army checkpoint... I moved closer to him when we got to kogi to ask him how the job is... man looked at me and said “who no come, no go know” and kept eating his food..

That’s the same thing they’ve been saying since all year round...except for the ones closest to us who indulge us by telling us the reality..

The resolve we have is that we can’t sit idle while terrorism rocks the nation... we’d rather serve than join the bandwagon complaining..and for the death part... anybody can die anywhere anytime so why not just do something with meaning

My mom would often tell me about a man that went to inquire about his death... he was told he’d die in a car accident and the man isolated himself... never went out, bought and did everything online until one day he was furious about something his wife did and was raking in the house.. he got so mad that he didn’t see his sons toy car on the floor, he stepped on it and fell backwards hitting his bead and dying instantly..last last na still car accident kill am.
