First of all, let me congratulate the Ikeja pack (08), your documentation is next week. My advice for you is to secure all original copies of your documents. Make sure everything is intact and correct, else your appointment can be withdrawn (yes it can. It happened during our time).

After your documentation start gathering your funds so you can sort out your transportation and other things.

As for other cadres, your mails will be sent to you soon. I can't give you a particular date but it will come.

It's been a while I came on NL, so I decided to visit the family today. The job isn't easy, smugglers misbehaving here and there but our officers are doing well to secure the borders.

Y'all should remain calm, I don't have any info on the recruitment. Absolutely no one does!

Even those at the HQ are in the dark (thanks to the CG, who has made it so). And it's a good one so y'all can expect transparency on this recruitment.

Just remain calm, nobody will cancel your recruitment. We need Men oo, we seriously do. So the way and manner y'all must train in our father's college. Is that clear??

First of all, I want to congratulate everyone again. It's not easy to get to this point. I remember seeing my name on the list for screening, I didn't believe it. Had to ignore my workout that day, lol. That's by the way tho.

If you're going for the screening make sure you have all Credentials/documents complete ( I have mentioned it in one of my post).

For medical screening, they will be a blood, eye, BMI, urine, height check.

Regards glasses, there's no wahala. Gone are the days when people wearing glasses were not selected to join the military/paramilitary. Just make sure you pass the eye test.

I might not be available to answer much questions but If you want to get full details on how this screening will be just search for the page on this thread. I think we had our screening around March 2020. Read and you will get full details.

I have been following this thread silently for a long time now and I will say this; Honestly, I see no point in belonging into a gang (because that's what they are) where there are no benefits.

First of all, I don't know how long it will take for the service to notify you guys but I believe it won't linger for long.

As for the next stage, the documents you need are:
- First school leaving certificate
- SSCE
- Indigene Cert.
- Birth certificate/Court affidavit
- ND/NCE (for level 06)
- Bachelors Degree cert (for level 08)
- Nysc discharge cert (for level 08)
ID card for easy identification.

Statement of result is accepted but when you make the final list kindly look for your original as that's what will be needed.

Don't pay money to anyone for recruitment into the Service, if you Merit it, surely you will make the list.

The training colleges are expecting recruits so no one will deny you entry.
What will happen is this;
For that night, you will be allowed to rest your heads inside but without a meal.
On Sunday morning, all the recruits will report outside the gate. There proper welcoming will be done.

Names and APL will be checked and then you will be documented (that you have arrived and you're present for the training).

Boxes will be searched in case of illegal items (Knives, hard drugs, electric kettles & stove etc). After that, you proceed in and sit on the floor. While sitting, hostel accommodations will be allocated to each recruits (this will be done in batches). Once you have been given accommodation, you can now settle down.
It's very possible that kits will be issued that day. All these will take time, they may round up late in the evening.

For that guy that said meals won't be provided till Monday, please that's wrong. From Sunday evening, you will start collecting meals. A meal ticket will be given to you. Please don't misplace it oo, else you won't be getting food.

I wish you all safe trip as you journey to Lagos and Kano. We go meet for there!!

On the issue of mobile phones:
You're allowed to go in with your phones but you can't use them outside BN lines (Hostel). Thing is you might not need to press phone sef do the first few months because you will be so engaged.

Also, I'd advice when you get to camp please and please be careful how you use mobile phones and what you post online. In fact, the service will brief us on the first day on the do's and don'ts. Handbook will be given to us regards the rules. Please let's follow it.
Anybody wey Dem go send go house at this stage just know say Village people dn blow powder for that person head but it's not our portion.
