Most of what we now call western education were also taught through the Arabic language then, since we only consider education through the English language as the only form of western education, mind you, the crusaders that first went to the Arab world also learnt a lot from the Arabs.
I am 100% sure that most you don't know that what you know as surgery today all started from the Arab world and the tools used in this field today were all modification if the ones the westerners copied from the Arab world.

Dude, just don't. You can tell those who know nothing about the history of civilization that the Arab world did or had stuff like that. But those of us who read our history know that the Sumerians invented writing, Surgery was practiced in Egypt long before the Arabs became a people and no, the original Egyptians, the ones who discovered Irrigation and Pyramid building were not Arabs. The only thing new that the Arabs gave us was Algebra. And even that is just a part of Mathematics invented by others.

Here comes another one, what I've gat sorry u in person have NOTHING I mean No thing to show up the Northern are always ahead of u, ask u forefathers, even though they may detest it, but they have no choice that's the fact.

What are you saying? Being literate is being able to read. Anyone can read. What matters is the ability to understand and apply knowledge. If the Northerners were educated they would know that having Sharia Courts, Suicidal tendencies, female genital mutilation, preventing kids from going to school etc are terrible ideas and should not be encouraged. But no, despite being able to read and write they fail to be educated.

Africa, you're not referred to as monkeys because you're black but because your mental growth have refused to grow beyond that of a 6 year old baby, just like a monkey. A monkey's brain remains like a 6 year old child's brain, easily deceived and conned.
About 4 centuries ago when this Western religion was imported to Africa, your forefathers were told of the imminent end of the world, they suspended all developmental projects and started preparing for this imminent end of the world. Their visions became short termed vision, a vision of "just now", they saw no reason why one should have a long term plan since the end of the world was at hand.
Unfortunately, they passed this fantasy to their children, they enforced it on them. With two nations going into war, it's regarded as sign of end time. Outbreak if diseases was/is regarded as sign of end time. Incest is regarded as sign of end time etc. Oh Africa, while you were busy preparing for the end time, those that sold this dummy to you were planning on how their countries would look like in 1900. They had vision 1900 while you had vision end time.
Oh brethren, incest is as old as man, it is sign of nothing. When man was at his early developmental stage, incest was common, it's as man evolves that he started identifying what incest means.
Oh Africa, war is no sign of anything. War is as old as man. Are you ignoring the numerous wars in your religious books?
Oh Africa, outbreak of diseases has nothing to do with any end time. Remember, in your religious book, leprosy was a disease with known cure. When measles broke out, you were crying end time.
In the 1900s, Africa you were still waiting for this imminent end of the world while those that told you of the end time had achieved their vision 1900 and subsequently developed vision 2000. Africa, again, you prepared for this end time like never before in 1900 to 2000. During this period, the rest of the world made giant strides in sciences. Heart transplanting became possible, something you considered man challenging god when it was at the experimental stage. When someone used as experimental guinea pig died, Africa you celebrated the death as a way god is using to silence the scientists. Saying you can't alter god's works. The same happened with kidney transplanting.
Now we are in 2000s, and Africa what have you? You are now more prepared for the end time like never before. The rest of the world are making efforts to transform their countries and planning how it will look like 50 years to come. Head transplanting may become common within this time Africa and you won't have to show your primitive thoughts again that head transplanting will never be possible because it's man challenging god just as you are already saying.
Wake up Africa. If you continue like this, 50 years to come, you will be 900 years behind the rest of the world. End time is a scam. Wake up. Live the life you have now to the fullest and make proper use of it, you have no other life.

Religion / Your Inner Caveman - Bill Flavell by SilentPrince: 2:42pm On Apr 29, 2015
Viewing from a distance can often reveal things that cannot be seen close up. To gain a sense of perspective, it is interesting to look at our species, not for a few generations but for our entire existence.

The best evidence available suggests our species has roamed the earth for at least 200,000 years, probably more. Most of that time we were itinerant hunter-gatherers. We used sharpened sticks and flaked stones as tools and weapons.

Things changed very slowly indeed for our Stone Age ancestors until about 12,000 years ago with the beginning of agriculture. That was when we started to grow our own food which forced us into permanent settlements, and gave rise to much larger communities.

An unintended consequence of the agricultural revolution was that people could own land and charge rent and leaders could levy taxes. So, we saw the emergence of a tier of wealthy property owners and rulers.

The next big change, starting just over 5,000 years ago, was the discovery of bronze. Smelting copper and tin produced a metal that could be forged into tools and weapons and were far superior to their stone equivalents.

The invention of bronze tools for cutting wood paved the way, around 4,000 years ago, for one of the most important inventions of all time--the wheel.

And soon after this came the invention of writing and mathematics.

Bronze was a ground-breaking invention but it was a relatively soft metal and sharpened blades blunted very quickly. But some 3,200 years ago we discovered how to smelt iron and the Iron Age was born.

There were more revolutions to come but the foundations for our modern society were almost in place 3,000 years ago with the inventions of agriculture, the wheel, writing, mathematics and iron. Just one more foundation stone was required and it took another 2,000 years. That was the invention of science, which started with Thales' extraordinary idea that everything that happened could have a natural explanation and culminated in a reliable process for investigating natural things, now known as the scientific method.

Now for the perspective. For at least 94% of the time our species has existed, we have been Stone Age hunter gatherers. For more than 99.5% of our time here we had no reliable method for understanding our world and we relied on gods, magic, stars and superstition.

In that 0.5% of our time since then, we have been through the industrial revolution and we have started our journey through the information revolution. We have walked on the moon, sent craft to the outer reaches of our solar system and created machines that can look back in time to the beginning of the universe, more than 13 billion years ago.

We can travel to any place on Earth in less than a day and can talk to people on the other side of the planet, as though they were in the same room. We have eradicated diseases, like smallpox, that used to kill three million people yearly and we can transplant failed organs to repair people who would otherwise die.

All these advances, from the industrial revolution onwards, have relied on science. Not a single advance has been given to us by the gods, magic, stars or superstition that our ancestors relied on for hundreds of millennia.

We must not forget that we are not just related to those Stone Age men and women from 200,000 years ago--we ARE those people. We are the same species, made of the same stuff and to the same design. We have evolved slightly over those years but negligible changes have occurred in the last 1,000 years. We could still mate with one of our Stone Age ancestors and produce viable offspring.

This perspective may explain why, after the scientific approach has thoroughly proven itself and gods, magic, stars and superstition have been equally thoroughly discredited, that 85% of us still want to believe that gods, magic, stars and superstition are real and valuable. They are not.

That is our inner cavemen speaking for us. It's time to let them go.

YHWH is different, He's the only One out of these gods that refused to be represented by the works of the hands of man. Also in a free world, creation of gods is allowed. Even Nebuchadrezzar being of flesh and blood called himself god. Even you are a god. Gen 3:5 But the LORD God is one, He is the ANCIENT OF DAYS.

Guess what? That's what worshippers of other gods say about their different gods

I actually said God and not god...

arguing wouldn't get a result.. but this would

I pray the one and only God manifests himself to you in seven ways in seven days!!! (not for him to prove a point that he needn't prove, but for you to have a point to prove afterwards)

you will have a decision to make on the 26th

let's meet here on the 27th!!! please

And i said 'god'. Your god is no different from the thousands that preceded it, and the tens that have come after it. Infact, your god is a very young one. Less than 4000 years old. There have been much older ones like Zeus, Horus etc. All their believers claim theirs to be the most powerful creator of the Universe, yet none have proof for them.

I've been hearing that since 2003. I even met Kumuyi and he said the same thing. Your god doesn't exist, and so i will get no proof or manifestation.

DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS

but it is rather wise if one agrees there is a God, and makes heaven, and afterwards discover there isn't God after all... nothing to lose

THAN

to argue till death that God doesn't exist, and afterwards discover he does, and end up in fire

BUT THE FIRST LADY SUMS IT ALL UP ATHEISTS

"chai... there is Godu o o o..."

It is wise to live your life without worshipping any god, than to worship one and die to realise that there are thousands of other gods who all are angry with you for worshipping a false god. Rather be neutral than pick the wrong side. Savvy?

Your response proves my point. Thank you.

I don't think it does. You assumed every guy wants to have a feeling of ownership or takes pride in being the first to sleep with a girl.

I don't. I don't care if I'm the first or the 1000th. As long as she's healthy and makes me happy, I'm fine.

So when i come across those girls who think their virginity is something I should be impressed by, i simply walk on the other side of the road.

For me, virginity is nothing. What is most important is being able to make each other happy.
Romance / Re: Why Do Men Now Have Phobia For Virgins! by SilentPrince: 1:18pm On Feb 15, 2015
dabriggs:
That is not true. Men just detest what they can not have. There is no man who would not want a virgin as a wife or who would not want to be the one to dis-virgin a girl. Forget what ever grammar men speak. It is all lies. As a matter of fact many will come and argue against this. But pay no attention to them. Girls who are virgins are a little bit difficult to seduce nowadays. Especially after their teenage years. Men get angry at this fact and normally look for easy girls. Hence they go about trying to make the virgins feel ''unspecial'' so that they can be easy prey and loosen up.

It is almost the same thing when a virgin has her girlfriends laughing at her for being a virgin. Just because they are jealous that her virginity judges their promiscuity in a way. They laugh and deride her so she will loose her virginity and join their ''status''. I can guarantee you, when men seek for a wife, they do not want a slut who will sleep around! Forget all the grammar we speak in beer parlors about wanting a bad girl. We end up with many non-virgins because when we are ready to settle down we cant find a virgin to do so with.

Why do we want virgins? Because we want a faithful wife. Infidelity hits a man at his ego! It deflates him so much that another man is enjoying or taking his ''property'' (Yes ''Property''. I decided not to be politically/socially correct). Also all men want good kids. Especially daughters. No man wants his daughters to be sluts either. Of course it does not mean all virgins are non promiscuous. After all every woman was once a virgin. Neither does it mean that only virgins raise morally upright daughter. It is Just that it gives us peace of mind to know that we have a woman who has experience in controlling her sexual desires and can teach our daughters same. It boosts our egos that we have something that no other man has tasted. It makes us proud.

So do not mind the men. Men say this to make girls easy targets for sex. It is almost a contradiction. Because they want all women to be sluts but they would not want a slut in their family. I hear ladies say they heard a guy somewhere say he does not want a virgin who will not satisfy him in bed bla bla bla. That is bullshit!!! Every man is looking for a sweet virgin he can marry, then corrupt her to his taste.

You speak for yourself. I'm 100% sure I won't get married to a virgin. I'm not a patient guy for all the "I'm scared" talk after marriage. And i sure don't want a troubled marriage so a non virgin would do just fine for me.

And i have no interest to "dis-virgin" anyone. Virgin or not that's their issue. The last one I dated put the fear of virgins into me. Kept blabbing about me not sleeping with anyone else after her till marriage. I simply told her to leave and take her virginity with her.
