FYI, it has to do with going outside of your normal remit to make your presence be felt. PMB is the president and he was sick for about five months this year. So, the man who held forth on his behalf (VPYO) was performing outside his normal duty call.

Nigerian Twitter users chose Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as Nigeria’s “Man of the Year” in a Twitter poll conducted by SaharaReporters.


Out of 3,625 votes, Mr. Osinbajo received 41 percent, with the late Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Ali coming in second with 27 percent.


Mr. Osinbajo served as Acting President of Nigeria for a total of over three months in 2017 while President Muhammadu Buhari was in London receiving medical treatment.

During his time as Acting President, Mr. Osinbajo took on several presidential duties. He signed three executive orders, inaugurated the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), directed the expansion of the Social Investment Programmes (SIP), and attended the G7 summit where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump and other world leaders.

The fact remains that the political elites have NEVER been comfortable with and around PMB.

The good thing is the president has more than enough support in the common man on the street. His records speak for themselves and not even hundreds of Saraki, Amaechi and Gojes can defeat PMB in any free and fair election. Many of them big name politicians won in 2015 because they identified with PMB. Many opposition politicians even used his photo on their posters.

This time around, opposing PMB will naturally spell the end of their political career just as Atiku is about to find out

It's sad that the ruling APC has spent more time debating Atiku than fixing the obvious economy challenges, corruption and the motivated Boko Haram terrorist in the north east.

The minister of Agriculture promised a reduced price for the sales of rice in December but nothing has been done, and fighting Atiku has been at the top of govt. Priorities.

This was how GEJ lost in 2015, instead of governing the PDP where busy denigrating the person of PMB, and giving us reasons why he can not win.

You would have made sense with your post if you gave just one or two instances where APC officially made any unjustified statement on Atiku. Don't cite example of reaction to his lie of PMB been banned from entering USA oo.
