Great development.
This is very interesting and commendable. We in the south often deride the Northerns for not being exposed and too backward but I tell you, those guys are many years ahead of the rest of us when it comes to politics and polital awareness.
Was it not in a Northen state a Senator had his house destroyed for not being alive to his responsibilities?
We in the south prefer taking crumbs from our corrupt politicians and defending them with our life. Pathetic!
Anyway, let's hope this will trigger a spate of many of such development throughout the country. Once those reps know they can be recalled, they won't have choice than to rep well. |

Thank God for Buhari.
The Ineffectual Buffoon supervised the looting of our yesterday, today and tomorrow with reckless abandon. Yet those shameless looters and their supporters don't want us to talk about those criminal acts while at the same time they want to blame the current govt for the economic woes they brought on us.
No way! You can't go unpunished even though it may take some time. |

ndcide: Very hollow. When I see these analysis, I ask why all these sentiments. Just because you choose to hate the NA.
The NA is in order. Let more rounded lawyers WHO SPEAK WITHOUT PREJUDICE make their position then we can talk about it. What is written here isn't difficult to comprehend except anyone wants to be unnecessarily bias. Simply put, the CCB Act is not independent of the Constitution since it's a creation of the Constitution. As such, any amendments to the Act must not contradict provisions of the Constitution. Any such amendment that runs contrary to constitutional provisions of the Act is NULL AND VOID. Understood? |

Politics › Re: Dasuki's Arms Scandal Is A Fiction by SillyMods: 7:09am On Oct 29, 2016 |
[s] lordsterlin: THE SO CALLED $2.2 billion ARMS DEAL SAGA IS A CREATION OF BUHARI GOVERNMENT TO WITCHHUNT AND SETTLE POLITICAL SCORES. it does not exist!
If truly there's something like $2.2 billion arms deal,
*Why is BUHARI stalling Dasuki trial in court?
*Why is Dasuki locked up in detention without any form of trial?
*Why is Buhari afraid of granting Dasuki bail?
*Why is Dasuki's case shrouded in secrecy?
The answer is simple - There's nothing like $2.2 billion arms deal. it is true that Dasuki gave out monies to different people.
But was the monies from funds meant to buy arms? capital NO! The moneys were simply Security Vote!
Every government have its own security vote, even President Buhari has his own security votes. Security votes are spend at the discretion of the government.
Is it morally right for a government to have security vote that matter is left for the executive and national assembly to decide.
However in a bit to settle political scores, wat Buhari governmentt did was to reviewed GEJ's security votes n term it Arms Deal or $2.2 billion arms deal.
An action he believed will enable him have the grounds to arrest and deal with his political opponents.
Riding on Nigerians sentiment on corruption, he went on to use propaganda to distort the facts n figures surrounding d so called arms deal saga.
In fact d so called arms deal fiasco (security votes) spans from 2007-2015.
Was dasuki national security adviser in 2007 No.
Why do u tink BUHARI is afraid of granting dasuki bail, why do u tink GEJ said it is impossible for dasuki to spend d so called $2 billion arms deal funds?? becos it does not exist!
The so called arms deal saga is notin but a figment of Bihari's govt imagination.
Open your eyes and smell the coffee.
Buhari is playing on our minds with the non existent anti corruption Joke for his own political vendetta, Nigerians will shout when BUHARi is corruption starts coming out. [/s] |

Truth be told, if there is a president capable of pulling ND and Nigeria as a whole out of perpetual economic doom, Buhari is the one I know of.
His sincerity of purpose and genuine efforts to see Nigeria succeed didn't begin today. Such patriotic act has been there before he was head of state, hence his political enemies have always failed to be able to bring him down.
I pray the man PMB succeed. He needs our support if we really want a prosperous Nigeria. |
