hello vic justice,i collected our visas yesterday(me_2 years and my son 6 months).thanks for ur help.im still very surprised that our visas were granted despite so many mistakes i made during application.i didnt check the hotel confirmation before printing it out and submitting it.the hotel my friend booked was actually 3,710 pounds which is well over 800,000 naira ,while the money in the account as at the time of submission of the application for my son and i was a lil above a million naira.Also,my friend used her name and details for the reservation instead of mine despite giving her my details.i was actually expecting a refusal the moment i noticed these coupled with the fact that im not doing anything presently(i filled nysc in the form with a copy of my call up letter and nysc id card.i really dont know what these british embassy people look out for before granting or refusing visas because my cousin who spends most of his holidays(he started visiting uk when he was 2 years old and now he is 28) in uk was refused a few days ago just because he didnt submit some documents relating to his parents which i suppose they should have record of since he has been granted visas well over 6 times).i feel its really not about the documents u tender but about the ECO official that attends to ur application.i read a post about a lady who wants to apply but doesnt know if she can use the passport that has a maiden name,this is the second time ill be using my passport which was issued before i got married.all she needs to do is present her marriage cert and news paper publication of her change of name instead of going for another passport that will reflect her new sunname.once again vic justice,you are the man

schools are on vacation presently vicjustice and the letter was written by the proprietor of the school ith the schools letterhead paper and his phone number and signature appended below.its just a 12 day holiday.

thanks vicjustice for your response.my sister had her nysc last year and she filled it in the form during her application,she also dropped the original and photocopy of her nysc id card in the submission bag at the embassy.she did not even include letter of consent/permission to travel from her employer and her visa was granted.i know luck/favor runs with visa applications,i dont know if i can do the same too.on the issue of account,the amount in the account is 1.2 million naira to be precise and im planning to write in the form that 3000 pounds is available to us for the trip which is about 750k.i just dont want to get refused after being granted 6 months in the past and i wont like to waste money too.do u suggest i move on with the application or i wait till next year after my nysc service. thanks vicjustice,you are the man.

my husbands statement of account has been on for over 10 years now but he didnt use the account since 2010 but just reactivated it 13 june and im planninf on submitting my application on 3rd aug,will the account be acceptable for application?

top of the morning to all naira landers ,u guys are doing a marvelous job here.i am about re applying for tourist visa,i have all the documents i used last year when i was granted 6 months entry.im planning to apply for 2 years this time around with my husband as my sponsor.i want to know how safe it is to apply with my 2 year old son being his first time(he will be applying for 6 months)and also currently i am undergoing my mandatory nysc,i want to know if that wont be a problem since corpers are not meant to travel during there nysc year.altho i already have a letter from my employer(the proprietor of the primary school where im serving)stating her consent and that the school is on vacation.lastly,my husbands statement has a lil over a million naira in his account but its barely 3 months that he re activated the account,will the money cover for me and my son?.what are my chances pls,ur advice will be much appreciated pls.i wish everyone a great weekend.
