Hello, I’m currently in the same situation. The bank cancelled my application because I omitted the part where I’m to upload documents. I’ve been unable to fill another as I always get an error message stating that I’ve exceeded my limit for the wuarter. I haven’t even had access to PTA this year. Please help me as I’ve been on this for a week . The bank is clueless as they don’t know what to do. How do I cancel or delete the application ? My travel date is 5th of May . I’ll appreciate it if I get a response. Thank you in anticipation ��

Don’t worry, the response should change by Monday . I submitted 25th … the status was AP till 3rd of March . It changed to “issued” on 4th morning .

Hello everyone , I’ve been a silent reader on this platform . I get all my visa processing information/details here on Nairaland. Myself , my husband and my 2 kids submitted our France application last week Wednesday (15th of January) and got delivery of our stamped passport with 3 months visa multiple entry via ups yesterday afternoon . Thanks y’all for doing a wonderful job and taking out time to respond to all enquiries (although I didn’t ask any question as I got all the information I needed reading from the 1st page ).
Timeline for processing was 5 working days .

I think you misconstrued the points being raised. I am one those who made comments about family visa and no where in my comment I have said "is a no for Canadian embassy". The points I tacitly meant were that the applicants will prove beyond doubt of their true intents. I believe you won't deny those who have come back to say: I have been denied with my entire family. Having seen your supporting documents, obviously if you are denied, then we need to be seriously worried. How many of those families can boast of such ties? Thats what I meant below in my previous comments:


"Don't book any confirmed ticket until you see the visa. Getting visa now for family is getting difficult but not impossible. Throw in everything that shows you are coming back."


"I have said it repeatedly: family visit visas will take the grace to be granted. I am not saying it's impossible. If you reapply again with hotel booking, nothing will change. they will give new generic reasons not mentioned before."

I must have misunderstood your message . I really don’t know how their system works .My sister in law who applied with her husband (leaving the kids here as ties) before we did ours was refused ....my aunt (she has travelled to almost all the countries I can think of, she even has 10 years Uk visa and valid US visa )submitted Towards the end of May and and her application has been under eligibility review for almost 2 weeks.
I feel the visa office attending to ones application matters and of cause luck/grace like you stipulated .

@presidentpikin where is your visa processing office ? Ours is Kenya . I think they are a bit fast

* CAC documents for the 2 company’s I run
*husband submitted his own too
*introduction letter from my husband and I stating the date we intend to travel ,who we are visiting ,the amount available for our entire stay of 2 weeks which is $6000 cad .
*tax clearance certificates for my husband and I
* 4 months statement of our savings account (both with the total sum of 4m +)
*lagos state Advertisement agency receipt from 2017 till date.
*letter of introduction from my sons school
*Their school fees receipts
*copies of visa pages on our passports (Uk twice , US twice, Dubai twice and India twice )
*flight ticket from wakanow (we didn’t pay...we got it printed at their office )
*receipts of remittance of tax payment for our staff from January till June )
*marriage certificate
*kids birth certificates
*letter of introduction from my suppliers (4 companies ) . Introducing my company and stating the agreement we have with them as a distributor . My husband got his own too from about 5 companies they do business with.
Please note ; we addressed all the letters to the embassy .
*husbands letter of fitness from his Indian hospital as we all have medical visas on our passport.
*lease agreement document for my office space and my husband’s
*copies of all past flight itineraries
*land purchase agreement and survey plan .
*Letter of introduction/invitation from my brother Inlaw , house purchase agreement, PR card and drivers license.
Please note ; for strong ties ... I emphasized on my companies and my widowed mum
Who lives with me and is dependent on me (I included past flight itinerary for my mum and my family to the US twice and Dubai once ).

Hello everyone ....this platform has been my source of information for years . I don’t use any agent for my visa application as all the information I need is here . I came across this platform in 2009 when my first UK visa application was refused . I reapplied in 2010 using all the info here and my application was approved. I came back again for information for my US visa application which was also approved .
My family and I decided to apply for Canadian visa April this year and I came back again to read up on people’s experiences and documents needed for paper application .
Long story short,We put together our documents and submitted our application 10th of June .
I subsequently updated it online as read on this platform on 30th of June . Checked online this morning to discover that our applications were approved .
I’ve seen some comments on this platform that family visa is a no for Canadian embassy . It’s not true as it took less than a month . And I don’t think we put any document out of the ordinary . I wish you all expecting a feedback from them good luck
