EducationSeeking Admission In Nigeria Is A Taboo!!!! by simba1(op): 1:46pm On Jul 22, 2015
Truely Nigeria has many varsities, but yet getting admission in Nigeria seems to be miracle
.
First, it was introducing Cmputing System, which they aren't fully equipped for. As they saw that candidates didn't really welcomed the system, they made sure all candidates that wrote with Paper and Pencil to fail woefully(2013) and passed the COMPUTER candidates, whereby some who couldn't complete their works a s a result of Comp-malfunction was even given scores in unwritten subjects. And candidates run for cover choosing CBT more, samething happened(2014).
.

Secondly, Jamb reduced the total number of choices one can make, from 6-4, making admission tougher. Nobody complian.
.
.
Thirdly, they brought out compulsory books to be used for English. A book that they helped the author in marketing, getting their own huge amount of money.
.
Thirdly, now they are trying to become students' enermy of progress. They lied in cover, by saying, they are to have meeting to determine the cutoff, and they announced 180(Tell me, does it make any difference?), not knowing that the meeting was to initiate this useless propaganda of choosing schools for candidates irrespective of the candidates school of choice.
Imagine Chika registered for UNILAG in his Jamb with a score of 282, and Jamb decides to take him to Maiduguri in a an exorbitant school. Chika would have to reject the offer, and become a dropout.
Truely Nigeria is annoying, what makes Jamb think that they can employ any policy for our students?
JAMB is even of no use, they should be scrapped before many candidates die of heart-attack!

Heheheheh
ALKARULEZZ:
Good for u.. Btw, DELSU can't practically admit all the candidates who beat the cut-off mark cos there are too much candidates who beat the cut-off.. If you don't make the merit list, 2nd or 3rd batch, the other batches are not certain.. It depends on the quantity of "oil" on your head.

N.B: Most of the candidates admitted in the first batch scored very high marks.. Marks higher than what you scored.

Better luck next time
Excuse everywhere!

EducationCorruption In Nairaland's Education Section by simba1(op): 12:39pm On Jul 15, 2015
Ummm.....
Good day Mods, Nairalanders, Edulanders, Boss Seun, Guests and everyother persons.
.
.
I am not here to condemn nor commend, I wish to type mainly on the high level of scam going on in Eduland.
.
Yeah! We all know that it's Putme periods, where many aspirants are scammed, but the high level of scam going on in this section is very alarming.
.
You'd barely see a reasonable post or update about any school, these days, its purely scam. 80% of the posts in Eduland is full of jobless folks who are trying to feed their families by extorting monies from helpless Jambites by giving them fake news about the releasal of their school's Putme.
.
Not everyone is smart enough to detect a fake post, and so it is the sole responsiblity of Mods to ban any account that updates scammed Putme news.
.
Lol! They've even gone to the extent of writing funny name of Schools.
E.g Michael Okapra University, Awka Putme Forms is out, call ........
Nnamdi Azikiwe University of Agriculture, Umudike Putme forms are on sale, call ........ Etc. And the list keeps going.
They have name all the schools in Nigeria, be it Uni, Poly or Coe stating that the Putme's are out.
The most funniest of them all I've seen is, "Idemili University Uli Putme........" hahhahahaha.
.
.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THE MODS SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, BUT I ALSO KNOW, WE HAVE OUR ROLES TO PLAY TO AVOID SEEING OUR FELLOW STUDENTS SCAMMED.
.
.
THESE IS HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE A GENUINE PUTME NEWS FROM A FABRICATED ONE.
.
.
GENUINE NEWS UPDATE WOULD BE LIKE THIS;
r. "The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University wishes to announce to the general public that the Putme forms are now on sale. Inviting applications from suitable candidates who choosed the school as their first choice and got a minimum of 180....."
2. Always check the school's website.
How to process the form, amount, elegibility would also follow the news, so debunk anyother that omits this infos.
.
.
Fake udates would be like;
1. Unizik Putme form is out, call Mr. Williams on.... And so it goes on.
.
.
Please dear aspirants be wise as Serpents and don't fall prey to hungry animals who are here to make a mess of Nairaland.
God bless you all.
Success in your prospective exams.
Please share to inform others.

For u to get good advice, u need to mention what is it you hate about yourself.
What exactly is the problem?...... Are you too short? Are you too fat, or too slim?
Do you think you are ugly? What exactly is the problem?

Whatever the problem is, just know that some one died this morning and it's not you, someone is in the hospital begging God to keep him/her alive. So cheer up.
