I would be VERY SAD if Nigeria divides! However, our leaders, both northern and southern, are not helping matters. Dividing Nigeria may become the lesser evil than potential heavy bloodshed in our grossly mismanaged unity. We are already having this bloodshed in the North. Pity! I hope we (the electorate) insist on voting for a candidate who will have the wisdom and guts to set up a SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE. A unity that cannot be negotiated does not exist!! |
The 20ll presidential Election in Nigeria produced a regionally skewed election in which 90% of Northerners voted for one candidate (Buhari) and 90% of Southerners voted for the other (Jonathan). Both Sets of voters voted mostly purely on sentiment. Despite being free and fair, the election revealed a dangerously divided nation. A nation that just might fulfill the 2015 breakup prophesy. Jonathan is determined to return in 2015. Buhari is also determined to contest in 2015. Neither have any real content to offer in terms of Nigeria's progress. Till this very day, the supporters of both candidates sound terribly sentimental, no room for neutral analysis. What is your take on this topic? |

Have you noticed that a lot of Websites have advertisements on them e.g Adsense? Do you realize that some of these websites are not making money? WHY? Because they do not know which advertisement program works best on their website i.e. they did not get their WEBSITE MONETIZATION STRATEGY right! For Instance, many Nigerian websites and blogs will not be accepted by Adsense. Others will be accepted but won't make good money. Others again will find it difficult to receive the money they make! A lot of analysis goes into Website Monetization. Simonet works for an SEO outfit and will be very active on Nairaland! Thanks! |
Even as I am happy Nigeria is taking a stand on the issue, I fear we will eventually cave in when the Western powers apply a few sanctions. We have become a VERY VULNERABLE NATION due to corruption induced underdevelopment. America would not even attempt imposing gay rights on Russia and China! |
lady gogo: I thought her marriage was still intact. These yeyebrities sef.Yeyebrities!! ![]() I am challenged to take my Nigerian word creation skills to a higher level!! ![]() |
Failure of govt to unmask sponsors of Boko Haram (the real issue) is a huge failure of nigerian intelligence! |
Asari should realize he is fast losing any semblance of credibility he had in Nigeria, especially the south! Consider also his reckless statement about Jonathan or nothing come 2015!! |
Asari Asari. Ehen, I was wondering!! Niger Delta Muslim? Is that why you became a muslim? !! |
I used to be an admirer of Sanusi. Personally I have nothing against N5000. If they dash me, I will take! But wait O! What is the sense in touting a cashless policy then introducing a note which encourages people to hold cash ![]() With a N5000 note, I can conveniently keep N2m on me, abi? |
I think both the supporters and opponents of Jonathan are not being objective about 2015! |
O.k., even if the next president will be from the north, no problem? But how do you put Atiku Abubabakar before Marwa? How can any smart Nigerian still consider Atiku for presidency ? ![]() All he has is SELFISH POLITICAL AMBITION! He is extremely corrupt!! |
