Hey. thanks a lot. this can double as a guide on how to properly run a business. Most of the points are very relevant to my business. I will copy this and refer to it from time to time. Thanks. |
Firstly, i want to say that if you will be away from your business (whether saloon or cafe ) most of the time, don't even start any. That is the most important advise i can give. These are small businesses and your staff will steal you blind and put you out of business before you know it. and it doesn't matter whether it is your brother/sister you put to manage it. Secondly, you must be able to maintain the systems yourself or you could be frustrated out of the business. However, if you can manage to be there 90% of the time, i prefer a cafe business, because of the output. a good cafe will make 10k to 15k everyday depending on the location. i operate one presently. it is true that people have access to internet at home so the internet access aspect of the cafe is not as profitable as before. but people still come to do other services, like printing, scanning of documents, photocopy, bulk sms, registrations, job applications, and so on. and during times for registrations or job applications, you could be making 20k to 25k daily for short periods of time. And remember, a well respected cafe/business center could provide a respectable platform for other businesses like mobile money transfer, result checker cards sales, etc I don't own a saloon so i don't know how much they make a day. but seeing that in my area, i have about 5 barbing saloons, i doubt they can make 5k a day each. Please heed my first 2 points strongly. Good Luck. |
Elrufai went to the state secretariat recent and some staff complained about non payment of their october salary. He said he is not aware salaries have not been paid. And he is first on the list. |
Why do most people on this forum display intellectual laziness. why don't people read critically before commenting reasonably ? why do people find it very convenient to rain abuses instead of commenting on the post ? INTELLECTUAL LAZINESS . What former President OBJ is actually saying about Madam Iweala is that she likes to have her. Simple and short. |
We are living in interesting times, as the Chinese will say. What will happen in the days and months to come, is what I'm actually looking forward to. Saraki may have dug himself into a very narrow hole indeed. I see a situation whereby he may have to be going back to PDP every now and again to get his party, APC's agenda through the senate. and at every turn the PDP will demand for something in return. Granted his party has the majority in the senate, but with the deputy senate president and senate majority leader going to the PDP, the PDP may have an almost equal say in who runs the various committees of the senate that will be set up. and these committees may influence outcomes of any agenda put on the floor of the senate. My two cents. |
After going through the article, i just had this nagging feeling that these kind of articles are brought up to sensitize the public on what is to come, so that when it happens even the die hard supporters of INEC and APC will just accept it without any struggle. Just to confirm my feelings i went over to the writers blog. And his argument against the SAN's case for The president's disqualification from contesting this election, really confirmed it. The penitent question to ask is why would you remove Jega ( even if it is compulsory retirement ) at this most crucial time of the election timetable. Why even think about it. Knowing fully well that any person brought in to replace Jega will only be seen as a stooge. so i ask the article writer why even think about it ? |
Ukuts gp: Why do we have so many different doctrines in churches today? Is the bible not one? Is God not one?.You want to know the truth ? research what the first commandment is. as given by Moses and Jesus Christ. The first commandment takes care of everything. once you understand what the first commandment truely is, all your answers, will subsequently, be answered. Good luck. |
My problem is not with miracles, these happen to people everyday. But when a man says God told him or her to do this or that. i don't need anyone to tell me that person is a fraud. if he says he got some inspiration from somewhere somehow to know that he can drive without fuel that would have been a better story. But God talking to him? this is the original c-ock and bull story. |

Just this morning I got a rude shock from websurfer@Zenithbank.com that they are sorry, they cannot renew my Mastercard Websurfer. They suggested that I go for their Visa prepaid card instead. Just a few days ago I loaded the card with $200 dollars so that it can be renewed. It expires by ending of july, 2012. This has come without any notice to customers and my reload could have been stopped. Somebody somewhere is definitely not doing his/her job. If a notice had gone out, I could have used the $200 to get the Visa card. Now, I have to spend the $200 fast before the month runs out. So, those with Zenith Mastercard Websurfer beware. |
