I contacted @didibibi from this thread to help me process my WAEC as I'm not in Naija, she did everything timely and sent me photos that she has done it. It was completed o 17 May, I guess cos of the WAEC exams it delayed and I was beginning to get worried. But this past Monday she sent me the dhl tracking details and I can see that WAEC dispatched it on 20th and WES received it on the 24th. So just wanted to say thanks to didibibi I told her I'll do a review. I was expecting a text from WAEC but never got it so maybe you guys need to send someone there to check. Well my matter is in WES hands now.

Hi, please did vetassess state on their site that their assessment will take two weeks if you go through advisory? I'm asking cos I should have the outcome of my advisory request next Monday and plan to apply for the assessment immediately. I'm curious to know, cos I've read that their assessment takes months.

Hi guys, please a colleague and friend of mine wants to buy either a 2006 lr3 or a 2007 Ford Edge. Which is better in term of reliability and maintenance? We're aware the lr3 uses up a lot of fuel but he's leaning more towards it. Also also are there good mechanics Not kazeems oh that can work on the cars if there's an issue. He currently drives a corolla and want to change to get either of these Ghen Ghen cars. He lives in Surulere and works in VI and will drive daily. Currently services the corolla every 4 months and spends about 15k. Weekly fuel usage on the corolla is 3500. He earns 200k as take home and has the money to purchase the car. But he wants to know if the lr3 would cost him a lot to maintain. He plans to get comprehensive insurance. These are all his points but me I'm leaning towards the Ford Edge. My Google search shows that both cars were the safest for the years 2005-2008. Is the lr3 suspension issue very frequent Please assist as your advise will be appreciated.

Please what is wrong with my corolla. Everytime I break in traffic and I want to move again, when I step on the accelerator the car will delay for a bit and rev as if it is in neutral and Jerk slightly then drive normal. The car is auto and I've never changed transmission bought it toks for over a year without issues. This just started last month.

Hello all, I'm car hunting and being tossed around. I really want to get this 2004 7 series Benz or 2005 5 series which I saw on auction export, clean title and all. I can afford to buy the car but everyone I have consulted have dissuaded me on the basis that the car is expensive to maintain and I may not find a good mechanical...same thing for the Benz, was think of a 04/05 E class.

Please will I have to give an arm an a leg to maintain these cars? How readily available are the parts.

Also this will be my second car as I currently use a corolla which has only been to the mechanic three times since I bought it toks a year ago. All three occasions were to change the oil, I've had absolutely no cause to spend any extra cash. If I buy the fx, I will be driving it from surulere to work on the island everyday. Please how expensive is it to maintain the car, I reckon it will be more expensive than my corolla and I am fine with that but I will like to know just how expensive. Are the parts readily available, does the car have issues like the murano, can I get a good mechanic, i earn 180k a month, so please put this into consideration.

I wanted to buy the murano but from my research here on nairaland one word kept coming up, RUN. So I decided to run from the murano, should I also run from the infiniti fx3??

If yes, what about a 2006 Nissan pathfinder?? Nigerian used too for around the same price.
