Pataki: ![]() ![]() I'm way over it, I'm only still livid with at one person only - LvG. He's the cause of all these humiliations. He refused to buy Otamendi because of his countryman, Blind. He refuse to bench Rooney even though the Idíot is finished but yet he sold RVP. Even Chicharito wouldn't miss all the chances missed. He keeps playing Mata on the wing instead of midfield and then Young on the bench. Had the chance of buying Pedro but dropped interest. This man is a disaster about to happen. I'm not gonna comment till after Transfer Deadline tomorrow. If we don't get a new striker, i'll completely stop commenting here or sparsely comment because i can't be wasting my emotions and energy on a geriatric móron that knows zilch about coaching. I'll only start commenting regularly if God willing we luckily make top 4 this season. Stoichkov was right, Gaal is a time bomb about to blow. And i hope you see why i didn't praise Rooney on Tuesday night? I remember you thinking I'm a hater, now I've been vindicated. Anyway, let me wait till Wednesday morning before knowing what action to take. |

parrotibaba:You are not getting the point. It's not about the "number" of appearance sometimes, but about the reputation of the player and his worth to the team. Let me expantiate. . . A. Messi sometime ago threatened fire and brimstone simply because Guardiola played Ibrahimovic in the no. 9 position, a position he prefers. Guardiola had to place him back there for peace to reign. B. When Rooney threatened to leave, in how many matches was he benched? Was he benched the number of times Van was benched? Wasn't it the Madrid game that he's benched? But he fell out with SAF with all the huge of amount of matches he played. I can go on. See, players like Blackett can be benched for 20 matches and hell won't let loose, but benching CR7 or Messi for just one match is enough for them to be seething with rage and newspapers yapping that they'd leave. Heck, if CR7, Rooney and Messi don't play full time, the gaffer is in trouble. These players have huge reputation, they are "untouchables". Why do you think Rooney hasn't been sold off upon his poor goal returns? Van was an "untouchable" for SAF and Man Utd. A better striker than Rooney. The leader of our attack, who doesn't get benched in his prime when fit, then suddenly he gets benched for over 7 matches and you expect all to be well? Van read the signs on the wall that he's no longer an untouchable and had to leave. It was amongst the things that led to the fall-out. He's no happy being benched. Same thing applies to Cech who was no longer untouchable. Same for Manduzkic who saw Lewandoski's purchase to mean he's gonna be benched, so he bolted. |
Nihilist: *shots fired* |
GBR1:To be frank, it's because Nyabinghi doesn't argue with facts in all the time I've been on here. I see 99% of posts as that of man spoiling for a war and ranting. So i don't bother reading his posts till now. But on this argument, he's right. |
StarBoard:Is that Nyanbinghi? ![]() |
nyabinghi:You are right. I can't believe I'm admitting this, but you are right. |
parrotibaba:I hate to admit this, But Nyabinghi is right this time. Judging on the excerpts he posted, it's clear SAF preferred Saha over Van during Van's twilight years. But it doesn't mean Van was wack or something, it's just that Saha was more younger and had more years to serve Man Utd than Van. And Van had already paid his dues by then. It's just like the Courtois-Cech saga, Courtois displaced Cech not because Cech is wack but because of age. Chelshit couldn't afford to lose such a young and promising goalie over a much older Cech that has little of consistency to offer. |
Falcao scores for Chelsea. I repeat, Falcao scores for Chelsea. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CNljv-lUYAExzgF.jpg |
