Leyqute:While I've stated that I won't bash Ole because I always give any new coach we get post-Fergie a chance before drawing my conclusion, I won't fail to be objective about him. My stance on Ole is crystal clear, HD definition. I'd never wanted him in a permanent role because of his CV. My choice has always been Pochettino even if Ole had magically inspired the lads to a UCL title win. I'm of the opinion that Pochettino would've served us better despite his lack of trophies. Any day, any time, Pochettino is a better gaffer for me. But I appreciate all Ole has done for us. Before the Portuguese cunt_ was sacked, only a handful of United fans had the slightest of dreams of making top 4 or even eliminating PSG. Ole came in and made us dream again, for a long period. With these bunch of farmers and hawkers we had, he won matches after matches, pulling off incredible unbelievable victories in stadiums we'd normally get shellacked. I'd be a damn fool not to appreciate, but a bigger fool not think that in some of the matches like against Tottenham and PSG, we got extremely lucky. This Barca match showed that if both aforementioned teams had taken their chances, Ole would be toast. But then again, football has its fair share of luck. You need it to be successful. So my final stance is, I'll support Ole 100%. I'll give him the chance I'd given to Gaal, Mourinho and co. Let him buy they players he wants and sell the morons_ he deemd fit. No matter what happens this season, I won't come for his head, but I'll objectively point out his error decisions. But if after Ole had mad major changes to the team and I don't see an improved style of ATTACKING (not that counter-attacking style that won't work against teams with possession football like City) football, not even improved results because I believe with a instilled style of attacking football, the team would be set up for future success, then I will drop my support for him. The way the team plays from next season and the kind of players Ole will go for, is more important to me that short term results thst will wilt under pressure in the long run. Pep went trophyless in his first season but he's busy laying a foundation that will lead to a future dominance. I'll rather OGS focus on attacking foundation that will serve us for many years to come than a short term goal that will fall apart under a little push. See the Ajax team, see the Barca style of play, see how City plays, it all started by laying the right foundation not by seeking short term success. |
Lana1:That a United fan that wants the best for us would miss Matic should tell you all that you need to know about his mentality. Matic that's snail on a football pitch abi na another Matic? Make una free Elampawa to dey misyarn alone. |
This night results leaves me with great sadness. |
Roland17:
|
Roland17:If it's up to me, I'd sack him immediately. The guy is uber useless. But the kind of love OGS has for him, I doubt he'd bin him immediately. |
dubylhover:OGS has gotten some things wrong in his short time with us, Young is one of them. Let's just endure his love for Young till this season ends, by next season if Young is starting our matches, then OGS would be a fraud instantly to me. |
Sanchez, the greatest scam and con artist, musician turned player in the history of United. Thunder faya you well well *in Yorupa Diggz's voice* |
larride:Hopefully he learns from his wrong calls. Coz next season, the majority of the fans backing him would call for his sack if he's not doing fine. Let's focus on top 4 and hope he can get us to UCL via that route. |
diggz:This is more of a stab in the heart than a welcome.
|
GloryIsaac:What of Lindelof at RB? Dalot get epilepsy? |
|
|
larride:The same people bashing a -1 Young in a RB role is supporting his selection in a LB role that's he doesn't even have the natural left leg to execute? All to absolve OGS of any wrong. Lindelof has been a CB all through the season and he gets to start as a RB and coz it's OGS, it's the right choice?

BikeMan:DDG disgraced himself, it has nothing to do with Messi. On a normal day, every keeper will calmly scoop that ball up. DDG has been average this season. |
ChristineC:No player in our team worth Sanchez salary. Nobody. They'd stand their ground with DDG just like they are doing with Herrera. If DDG can't lower his demand, he can leave. I've always been of the opinion that with a quality team, a GK with Romero's quality can serve us admirably. Valdez wasn't the best keeper in the world when Barca were winning trophies left, right and center. |
larride:I can't believe some people don't find fault in Lindelof at RB. How can any fan defend this madness? It's preposterous!! |
BTW, as long as that defense selection is concerned, OGS fucked_ up totally. This is one of the moronic defensive selection I've seen any coach choose. Young at LB. Lindelof at RB? I can't deal mehn. |
GloryIsaac:The problem is not Elampawa, but the guys that still reply his inane submissions when the truth is obvious. He'll still defend Young as usual and someone would dignify him with a debate and the madness rages on. |
dubylhover:Young is a waste, everyone knows that. OGS would get rid of him next season, mark my words. If he stays, bench will be his fate. |
Everything was going according to plan. You can see the energy flowing in the lads, the momentum was high. Even naturally lethargic Martial and Pogba were working hard. Then Young happened. As if that wasn't bad enough, DDG dropped a clanger. Woodward or whoever is in charge of contract negotiations would be a damn fool to give DDG the Sanchez salary he's demanding. They'd learn from Sanchez situation and see how doing that would destabilize the team. Next thing would be other lads demanding outrageous wages. DDG is a top GK, but we shouldn't put this team in disarray for him. If he can't reduce his demand, he can leave. We'd miss him but life would go on. |
SkimpleD:You can't blame Lana1 for not trusting Smalling. For a good performance from him, he's given 50 disastrous displays. |
larride:So annoying. Young go cross, Dalot go return the favor from the right wing. SMH. |
airmark:Against a better team.
|
Stop this useless crossing and try to dribble them and create better chance. ![]() |
I'm proud of our performance. The boys gave their best. |
Messi Lingard shoot immediately na |
Unlimited22:Woodward is a rank idiot. |
Credit to Smalling and co, they've shut Messi out so far. |
Unlimited22:You're asking a rat if it likes fish? Which answer will you be expecting? |
Rashford, post dey for stand, abi? |
It'll never be well with the idiot that renewed Young's contract |
