So I don't think all the blame goes to Vaverde and his tactics. Our players played rubbish. All they had to do was score an away goal and the tie is practically over. But no... Alba was clear on goal and like Vidal in the first leg, he chose to pass it. Messi could easily have scored from the needless pass but no, he wanted to dribble a defender first.

I think they were overconfident because of the 3 - 0 first leg lead which they could have made 4 - 0, and also from the news that there would be no Salah or Firmino.

Kudo to Liverpool. They totally deserved that victory, and our team deserved this loss. If you cannot protect a 3 - 0 lead, you have no business in the final.
