No one is taking away Pogba's performance. He's been good, played simple and has been quite productive but no one should come here to tell me how he's come of age because he has hardly dominated any midfield so far.

How about we think of an oppostion that has a good defence and a good midfield behind great attacking options, do you think France would have won, even with the help from the ref? The point is Pogba dominated feck all through the tournament. France team was all about 'countering' into space after lucky breaks. The question is are we supposed to play this style against the likes of Wolves, Burnley et al?

And if we were to employ such style against the big teams, would that be enough against big teams that have good attacking options that can hurt us which would be the cherry on top of their midfield domination? Take Psg, Madrid or even City for example.

Hence my verdict is Pogba hasn't put the doubters wrong. We want to see him dominate the play like Xavi, Pirlo, Modric, David Silva, even Sevilla's Nzonzi etc. Until then, he should go siddon for one place.

2 seasons and nobody is sure what his best position is or even what formation the team should play to unlock him. The fact that he is mentioning goals and assists tells you he is still clueless about his responsibilities as a midfielder.

The only way forward is to buy enough talented players so that the team functions well as a unit with or without him, i.e make him a complementary piece rather than the centrepiece of the team. If he keeps doing stronghead sell him off to Madrid or somebody else in 2 years.
