Silva messed himself up. He showed no commitment or basic modicum of decency when Everton came calling just 4 or 5 months after signing with Watford. How do you then expect players to pull together for the cause when their manager has zero commitment to the club? Silva is the first of a new breed of managers who behave like players that can start grumbling just 3 months after signing for a club because another club wants them. No matter how good you are as a manager, the ability to keep players motivated is the core function of your role, and Silva lost respect and player commitment once he behaved inappropriately like some hungry man at the first sign of interest in him. Not like it was even a big club showing interest sef!

Gone are the days when a managers commitment to a club is guaranteed for 1 or 2 years at least. I'm sure Silva's mentor Mourinho advised him to make such stüpid moves. Mourinho is one that starts asking club for new contract before his first year is up. He did it in his two spells at Chelsea, Madrid, Manure and Inter.
God bless you, very well said (except the Mourinho advised him part). Silva had it coming. He was never the same after the Everton approach.

Unbelievable. They are 10th!
What are their expectations, top 4?
Silva's Watford form has plummeted after Everton publicly chased him, and though I'm not supporting his sacking, Watford have a good reason to sack him. Since that public courtship of Silva by Everton, Watford have lost 11 of their 16 matches leaving them just 5 points above relegation. So, Silva had it coming.

Nah!

We ain't linked to any RW, maybe Sanchez (if he's eventually signed) gonna nailed down the Position till End of the Season.

I actually wouldn't mind us getting Moura in this Transfer Window as emergency Fix though.
I honestly don't see Sanchez curing our RW sickness. He'll be another Mourinho's makeshift trial on that wing.

Pogba wastes a good counter and a chance at an assist. Smh.

Apart from Moura, have you seen any rumor linking us with a RW? JM is suffering from RW Blindness, a disease that makes our RW seem okay to him.

In response to Sinizia's post...
Smalling is not a reliable CB, but our style of play invites pressure on ourselves and exposes Smalling. A defense under pressure will likely cave in and concede.

United should do everything possible to get Mahrez in the Summer. Perhaps we can swap him with Lingard and some Pounds.
Nah, we don't need to swap Lingard. He's helpful and can be a good outlet when we need goals. We'd go all out and get Mahrez and still keep Lingard.

What the hell is wrong with this Lukaku!? Is he mad or what? You were blocked from shooting and you throw your arms up in protest instead of pressing to get the ball back.

Do you expect to have everything placed on a platter of gold!?

It's not only him self. The whole team are playing as if they're in a trance. What is wrong with them ffs
I felt like slapping him there. That's too dumb of him. He'd have chased the ball and help get it back. That's how pressing football works.

Smalling has been shaky
Because we're under pressure. They're pressing us and you'd expect such. These past few games that Stones has been under pressure, he's been jonzing. Stones improved this season coz the ultra attacking style of City means the defenders are not under pressure.

If we start pressing Burnley badly, they'll be the one defending and Smalling can get a breathing space.

Nice goal by Martial, he nearly missed it.

The first thing you notice is that the intensity with which we play has dropped I can't say this is the cause, I don't want know what to say bro, this match weak me..

See Lingard.
It's up to the coach to remind them to press them like they're doing us. If possible switch to a 343 and commit more bodies forward. Mourinho looks relaxed and okay with our display so far.

Our RW is useless as well. It's why I'm always complaining that a RW is needed more than the AM or LW which Sanchez can play better.

Mike Dean is not the reason we're playing like Championship teams. The team and the coach's tactics are the reason why. Why are we not pressing these guys? Why is Mourinho not screaming at these guys to put pressure on this lazy players?

It's annoying really, you see our players playing as if they re not interested in the match at all, defense so shaky, midfield slow except for Matic that's doing his job, upfront Mata and Lingard offers nothing. This is not what I expected from a team that wants to pile the pressure on City, this half is an eyesore. I sincerely hope the team improves and Young shouldn't start the second half.

We need to win this match seriously, we can't keep dropping stupid points.
Pogba has been dull today. Matic is doing his job, Pogba is not doing his. Mata is on the wings but nothing to show for it. At least Martial is showing some glimpses once in a while. The whole team save for our CBs has been playing badly.

How we went from attacking football last match to containing Burnley is annoying. It's like these lads and Mourinho believe that attacking football don't work in away matches. This coward style of giving Burnley too much respect pisses me off. What are we afraid of? Did Mourinho play Young coz he's more defensive or what? I just dey vex.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 4:53pm On Jan 20, 2018
There's nothing positive from our display in this half. Useless and lethargic display from the lads. Young has been very poor. On numerous occasions, he didn't join Martial or overlapped him to create chance for him. Why Mourinho benched an in-form Shaw for Young is beyond me. Only Valencia is running show in that RW. While Young has been dormant save for that one good move. Pogba is not even playing well.

No intense, no pressure on Burnley. It's just disgusting to watch. Why we're not pressurising Burnley remains mysterious to me.

they did the same for Pogba we even heard 120m,one o..jiotic shekpe fan even converted it to euros few weeks ago. For lukaku they even estimated Rooney's fee as 15m and said he was paid off 10m and rounded up the deal to 100m just to feel better.

It's ridiculous. I just hope if the deal happens, Sanchez should start firing on all cylinders, that's the only way to shut these rumor mongers up for good.

I read one useless rumor news on my friend's phone this morning, the fuckërs made me swear not to read any rumor on Sanchez till it's official.

The fools alleged that Wenger didn't bulge on 70m valuation of Sanchez so United will pay Assanal 35m with Mkhi who's valued at 35m. Then United will pay Sanchez 15m as sign-on fee and 15m to his agent (100m for someone with about 4 months left in his contract). Also pay Sanchez 500k a week with various add-ons (like a hat-trick) that will take it 600k each week.

I use vex swear not to read any more trashy rumor on Sanchez. I only check United site to see the official announcement. No time for nonsense.

Ludicrous that the narrative as peddled by the media is one of double standard.

There is a Sports show on radio at 5pm where I live Monday to Friday. On Saturday it's on from 2-6pm. Two Saturdays ago, the station jumped on Jose's comments about spending to keep up with City, and as usual, uninformed brain-dead dingbats called listeners started with their dross, all due to having an opinion.

A week later, Conte made a claim on Sky Italia, echoing Jose's sentiments about spending and calling Chelsea an "austerity club" in effect; and till date I'm yet to hear anything about his comments, either through the media online or on the said sports show.
I called in to the show and asked when they were going to dedicate a whole show to Conte's comments and I was cut off.

The point is, you could be forgiven if you thought there was an agenda or campaign of calumny against United. I can understand the attention: arguably the biggest football club in the world-why not take advantage and make a little name off them. If you pay attention to the largely idiot1c comments about United, you're not going to move ahead in life, really.
The double standard is nauseating.

Coutinho went to Barca, his wages for the duration of his contract and agent fees weren't added to the official amount.

Van Dijk went to Loserfool, same thing.

Stones went to Man Shitty, same thing.

But Sanchez to United, every last kobo is added even his dogs' feeding fees. SMFH.

Disregard all these fake rumors saying United will pay Sanchez £500k a week. Pure unadulterated bullshît. We're not that stupid to pay Sanchez such amount. He's not a Messi, Cr7 or Neymar. No club for that matter in European top 5 league will pay Sanchez such an amount.
