Vanquay:Local search that diss lines on Nairaland and you'll find the original owner of that diss. A United assassin owns it. |
bigkesh:Here you go: https://www.nairaland.com/871307/official-manchester-united-fan-thread/2265#39092779 |
funlord:His money was fixed for 50m, so any club that could afford that will have him. Roma was pricing him for 35mil which was way off the target. I think if Mourinho was serious about him like he's about Perisic, we'd have gotten him under a week at 40 or 45m with 5m in add-ons. |
Tvegas:No mind those fools. This is just the tip of the iceberg. When they're poaching the best players from any league, they didn't believe this transfer window was going to come. Imagine those hypocrites were shameless enough to try and stop Neymar from leaving. But they kept quiet while the likes of Suarez, Ororo and Co were swept away by Hurricane La Liga to Spain. Efulefus!! |
funlord:Mahrez na baller, he just need a better team to work with. Against us, he's the only one making things happen for Leicester. If we get that guy, our attack will be sleek AF. We don't need a big name signing like Bale, Mahrez would get the job done. |
funlord:This was why I was low-key hoping we'd sign Mahrez, just for one reason and one reason only, to end this preposterous chase of a walking bag of injury called Bale. For almost 3 seasons now, according to rumors, we've been chasing this niggah and at the end of the TW, he'd say he's happy at Madrid. I keep wondering if we got no more shame. If someone has made it clear he doesn't want to leave, why can't we look elsewhere? What do we even pay our scouts for? Them no sabi read about Bale spending more time injured than playing? Are we looking to get another kindred spirit of Shaw who would be gulping huge weekly wages just to get injured and chill in the sickbay. Mahrez would have solved this issue for us. Apart from aerial threats, Mahrez would've given us almost everything that we want in Bale. We don't need to waste not less than £100mil on Bale when we can get Mahrez for £50mil without any add-ons and have someone that rarely gets injured. Imagine what Martial/Rashford - Mhikitaryan - Mahrez combo can bring for United. They'd be unstoppable!! |
Spy360:So, let me get this straight, we lost Shweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Rooney, Depay, sent Pereira on loan, but only ours is addition while others is replacement? So was Giroud sold when Lacazette was bought to replace him? Was Monreal sold when Kola was bought? So injury that affected our players from last season and will keep them out till December is what you call "short term"? All in the bid to twist the debate to favour you? Short term must've gotten a whole new definition. After selling those aforementioned players, with injuries ravaging Shaw, Young, Rojo and Ibra, you have the temerity to say we added but others replaced. Nice analogy. ![]() |
Chelseafan1:Lol. It's cool, man. I just wanted to clarify that I had no club rivalry sentiments when I pointed out his mistake. |
Spy360:And our rivals didn't basically add to their squads? I don't understand this excuse. Tottenham added to their squad. Liverpool added to their squad. City added to their squads. Chelsea added to their squad Arsenal added to their squad. In short we added just ONE more player to our squad more than Arsenal, so I don't get this adding to our squad point you're making. LOL. Man City, according to Dayo, didn't do well coz of the old legs; Pep SOLD THEM OFF AND REPLACED THEM WITH QUALITY PLAYERS. Shitty ones were thrown out and better replacements added and yet you're talking of losing major players. Chelsea lost major players? Can you list them? Costa that's included in their squad along with a costly replacement in Morata? Matic that was deemed a "Serbian bag of beans" with 2 better replacement in Drinkwater and Bakayoko? Terry and Ivanovic that contributed nothing tangible to their title win? They were even replaced with Rudiger and Zappacosta. Who did Arsenal lose before they bought Lacasera? Kola nko? United didn't lose Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Depay, Ibra (to injury), Young, Shaw and Rojo (to injury as well)? Yet ONLY United strengthened and other teams that added more players than us were singing Kumbaya, abi? You try well well. In terms of strength, experience, quality and numbers United has it ahead of others. This is a lie. I won't waste my time explaining it as I'd already done it above |
Chelseafan1:Stop seeing every issue from a sentimental point of view. It's petty and doesn't speak well of your E-attitude. When Ibìme spanked Vanqùay, or when some of you dissed him, I don't make it a club rivalry issue. I don't even butt in because I believe he's old enough to take care of his gaffe. There's no gang up on Hensbėn, rather his stubbornness is his Achilles heel. If we're ganging up on him what about Raumdeutër that faulted his post severally, is he a Man Utd fan also? Even when the truth is glaring he kept arguing like an illiterate person. If you remove sentiment you'd agree he has only himself to blame for the whole debacle. It has nothing to do with United fans râping him. |
Funlordjnr:The guy matter don tire me. Someone comes in and play for 5 minutes and sometimes even for 1 minute AFTER matches have been won, yet he's "intergral" to the title win. |
hensben:Ok |
hensben:Ok |
dopeJemi:If I was near him, na this I go do am. . .
|
raumdeuter:Today is the day I gave up on Hensben. No offence to him, but I've never seen anyone with a poor understanding of footie than him. |
hensben:Are you blind? hensben: Chalobah was more involved than Terry in the title win. Terry played when the trophy was already wrapped. How can someone who played a significantly little role less than Terry be more involved than Terry in the title win? How can someone who played 159 minutes be more involved in a title win? Do you know even understand basic Math? 159 minutes is not up to 2 matches and yet he's more "integral" than Terry with over 4 matches in total minutes? WTF?!! How do type without shame? What won't I read from you on this forum? I give up. Carry go, you don win. |
hensben:And to think people liked your post without confirming it. The emboldened is wrong. Terry was more integral to the title win than Chalobah. Terry played for 492 minutes while Chalobah played for 159 minutes. That's more than double of Chalobah's contributions. |
SetrakusRa:Nah, he saying that so if we don't win he can call Mourinho a failure. But if we win it, he can turn around to say it's no biggie as it was expected. |
Spy360:If you don't mind, I'd love to read your cogent reasons for stating the above because I'm yet to get the logic behind these kinda assertions from people just after winning 2 below average teams & 1 average team. What made us have the best squad? The so-called "average" and "jambody" Lukaku with a poor first touch? The so-called "Serbian bag of beans" that's doing practically nothing in the midfield while Lord Kante did all the work? The same Matic we United felt sad on reading just the rumors that we're interested in him? The much derided Matic that Chelsea fans couldn't wait to see out of Bridge? Or the Lindeolf that hasn't made 2 out of our 3 matchday squad? I'm yet to get what makes us title faves because it's not like we strengthened more than Chelsea or City. |
diggz:Pogba has been immense for us these past matches that I, a strong Pogba critic, am starting to believe in him. You need to watch our full matches to see his overall influence. See, someone that didn't see our last match would read that Mhiki had an assist and think he played greatly, but actually he didn't Just like in the Europa League final first-half. But Pogba who had no assist won our man of the match (he's won it twice). By running the midfield, we mean controlling or dictating the pace of the midfield. Pogba ran the show last match. I'm not saying Mhiki has been poor, but for having an average match on Saturday, with Pogba playing majestically, I'll give Pogba the edge over Mhiki. But I totally disagree with Mhiki missing out on the final top 3. Either of Mhiki or Pogba deserve it. It could swing both ways. I'd have removed either of Jones or Matic and put Mhiki there. That's where I feel they got it all wrong. But my vote will definitely go to Pogba if I was to vote. |
Funlord, them don delete all your monikers? Who have you offended this time around? ![]() |
Lana1:I'd go for Mahrez. Sanchez position is not much of a problem for us, but our RW needs a Mahrez badly. If we get Mahrez, our attack will be fearful. |
dubylhover:I never said it's a "steal" for Chelsea, I said it's good bargain for them. Conte is in desperate need of recruitments, Assnal doesn't want to lose him for free, so it's good business for both clubs IMHO. |
Funlord2:LOL. Bro, I don't expect Chamberlain to light up Stamford Bridge, but he's a good addition. Very versatile. Plus, 35mil flop can be managed than a 60mil flop. That's why I love the deal. It's one of the reasons why we're not mourning Schweinteiger's disastrous spell, coz he came cheap. Compare it to that of Di Maria. |
sod09:Wenger lacks the balls to make this Arsenal team competitive. This Arsenal team might not win the league, but with a quality coach like Conte, they wouldn't be disgraced easily, and can compete for titles. Wenger is just confused, he doesn't know how to use his players, and ghosts like Ozil should be forced to sit up or get benched. Martial had a good season last season, became laidback last season and Mourinho benched his azz. Hererra was our best player last season but right now he's on the bench. It takes guts to do that. Wenger will keep playing Ozil even though he's been in terrible form for months now. He has no ambition. He was criticised severally last season and yet couldn't spend the cash to get more quality additions to prove that he wants to get the club back to winning ways. Just Kola and Lacazette. Too stingy for my liking. |
Funlord2:Chamberlain for £35m is a good bargain. He may not be the best out there, but he's definitely not the worst. I'd love that guy for our RW even though he's not my typical RWer. Chamberlain is team player, and he can defend, can attack, can play in the midfield especially as DM. he can play both wings. Fashi talk, in this current transfer window, Chambo is a good business for Conte. And you don't need quality players in all positions to win a title. You need quality players mixed with average but reliable players to win the league. Look at how Moses an average player, you can even say below average player, is in starting eleven of Chelshit and played an integral part in their title win. Time will tell, but I think Chambo is a good deal for Chelshit. Even if he doesn't come good, the loss is not much. 35mil is cheap currently. |
larride:Have you ever seen any link, just one link linking us with Sanchez? Mourinho has never been interested in him for reasons best known to him. |
Neymar1095:I actually pitied Arsenal fans even though they mock us at every given opportunity they get. They don't deserve Wenger. I wish he gets sacked cos even from an opposition POV, they need a better coach. |
Lana1:LMFAO. You're a fool. ![]() |
