Family › Planning To Meet Her Family For The FIRST Time. by siobh(op): 12:11pm On Jun 07, 2017 |
I kinda need una advice,
I need to do this with my second account cos she follows my main account here on nairaland. lol...
I have been going out with my girlfriend for almost three years now and i am definitely going to take it to the next level with her. She will be graduating from college this year November and I have never met her parents once. The challenge is, i dont want to meet her parents at her graduation which will make it look less than a get to know you family affair and i will be so irrelevant in the setting.
Now I am a very busy person (Lagos work lifestyle) and the only time i can comfortably make it is Xmas/New year holiday. What do you think, is it better i go to meet them before then at their home or just play along till the Xmas/New year hols.
Thanks in adv. |

Yea, i noticed. Lol, she will soon turn back to say she just wanna gate crash. Her stories arent adding up. Oya, go and charge your phone. Jazmiynne: First of all, the "guys" you refer to.... Are the exact same person
Secondly, I'm honestly thinking you are just joking with some light sarcasm about her gatecrashing cos she no go wan do mistake come talk that kain thing here after she Don tell us say she got a uba invite
Thirdly, there ain't nothing vindictive at all about simply telling someone that we see through her. If she has to scam, she should at least give us some credit by doing it smartly. Her lies are really an insult to our intelligence |

Jazmiynne: First of all, Are You Okay?
See no make person vex here o. Do you really think we are all fools? The same UBA that sent text invite to other people as shown on this Screenshot decided to call only you? Jazmiynne: Or you have forgotten that it's this same Nairaland where you asked this question on the screenshot? You are not even a smart scammer!
Just yesterday, you were asking how they applied, and today they have suddenly called only you as you take special reach You guys are vindictive. You went to dig up dirty little secrets of this innocent lady, soon she will tell you that she wants to gate crash the interview. Guys, why una both get low battery na. |

shaddoww: I am very very impressed, as a yoruba, I feel proud of wat u guys are doing, cos it takes Unity of purpose for u to agree like dis, though a lot of Yorubas are nt openly showing u support bt I can tell u, majority of d Yorubas too want to go, don't mind dos yeye ones dat call themselves social media influencers, dey av been bought n dey are only influencing their pockets. I just wish dat my igbo brothers can stop dis tribal fight with we Yorubas, ignore wat u see on social media, dos ones only make abt 2% of our population. As the SUN as already RISEN from the EAST, my hope is that it can SET in the WEST. Then d sky will be our limit, it's nt compulsory we stay together in d South, but we can join hands to fight a good course. #WE ARE ALL BIAFRIANS I support your view bro, nothing is working in this country anymore, Tribalism, Nepotism, Indiscipline and Religion has ruined what we once called Nigeria. I feel very bad to have been born in this part of the world(although some other places could be worst, talk about Zimbabwe), especially to be in the same country with the backward north, talk of the quota system. All we need right now is true federalism or just lets split, the agitation is worst than ever. We need it now before things turn bloody. |

diportivo: The article specifies 2016 sales
Unless dat polo is a 2016 model I don't see how dat comes into play in this thread
If only ur friend has had his polo scanned with a VCDS he wld av been able to pinpoint the issue
Perhaps he only needs to do a readaptation i know its 2016 sales, i am a big fan of german machines especially the BIMA, but there is something about volkswagen that annoys me. electrical problems. i havent handled any of the 2016 anyway, so i wouldnt know what they represent. |

1bkaye: Well lazy could be a reason, but it's essentially linked to being insecure. And a man who is not lazy and possibly quite successful himself can also be insecure and still resent the fact that a woman is as/more successful as/than him. That's why the word feminism alone is triggering enough to send most of them into cardiac arrest lol well, diff folks diff strokes. we men also have perception that most ladies are gold diggers who almost have nothing to offer in marriages, except open legs and produce babies. |
Celebrities › Re: "I Have Never Wanted To Be Married" - Funmi Iyanda Says. Nigerians React by siobh: 6:07pm On Jan 18, 2017 |
1bkaye: Not everyone wants to get married, on top of that she's very successful and most Nigerian men can't stand it when a woman is more successful than them so you can imagine the added hassle. As long as she's happy. i disagree with you on this, only lazy men have something against successful women. i it when ladies know their game and do not look for favoritism to excel and they actually excel. I am scared of Marriage too though. |
