Niger was the target of another attack early on Tuesday morning in Bani Bangou. This town is in the west, on the border with Mali, in Ouallam area. At least five Nigerian soldiers were killed and the attackers fled.

It's early morning a group of assailants on a motorcycle, escorted by a car, attacked the positions of the defense and security forces in the village of Bani Bangou, located about twenty kilometers from the border with Mali. The provisional toll of this rocket attack has killed five National Guards and at least two wounded. The dead would also be counted among the assailants who, in their flight towards the Malian border near, took away two vehicles mounted on their armored car.
