Trump was out of line and the republicans know it, he lost the elections and they know it also, they just don't want trump to go down for it. The invasion was a disaster. He duly got banned same will apply to Buhari Guy wake up, did you realize how hard the combination of the so called social medias including the likes of CNN had tried to make sure Donald Trump was impeached and convicted?, so that he never hold any public office again?. Those who rose up against him have all been reduced to ordinary floor members in the Senate. This is America we are talking about not Nigeria o, so you've not heard of Trumpism?. A man for whom America was almost torn to shreds. I want to go watch movies now, best of luck waiting for US sanctions. |

Let’s watch how this unfolds. Buhari will understand we are citizens with rights not his biological children he can toss up and down.
Apc government will soon feel the heat they like generating for no reason. Let me help you here, nothing will happen. America will not impose sanctions without the Congress and the senate approval. The republicans will not allow such to go through you know why?, Trump is a victim of double standard by twitter and other social media, and he still controls the republican party ' cause he is their major financier. This is why they've not been able to convict Trump for inciting the invasion of the capitol hill. The democrats will not get the majority, this is how it is in America at the moment. Buhari now enjoy Trump support, the lifeless one has repblicans backing him. |

CsRockefeller:
“I was encouraged by what I heard, nobody told me. Two statements from the south-south. One by the elderly people, they said this time around there would be no (secession). And again the youth made the same statement; such encouragement,” Buhari said.
I am an Igbo person and in support of Biafra (though, not the IPOB way). You see this cryptic message President Buhari just sent is a master stroke and I applaud him for that, he is beginning to match up and that means we have to match him up better.
Now to the main point, the highlighted quote up there is nothing but the truth. I have carefully analysed and dissected Nigeria economically and politically and without bias, I can and will tell you that Niger-Delta is the piece holding Nigeria together. The talk of secession is rubbish without the South South endorsement and the quickest way to end Nigeria is for the S.S to say they are no longer interested.
So, as long as those leaders gave him their support,he has nothing to worry about. It's painful, but that's the fact.
The only worry is that, for a people/region that is the fulcrum to a Nation like Nigeria, the Niger Delta is fast asleep. Maybe the few billions they throw at then is ok but the the day the people of Niger Delta wake up (and I don't mean by blowing up oil pipelines or giving Ghana must go to the likes of Asari and Tompolo) but a radical ideological and behavioural change, then Nigeria will wake up and overtake Nations that have left her behind.
Niger Deltans wake up, stop drinking, stop all vices and act like the mill oiling this engine called Nigeria. As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end, go and google search Sam Aluko's interview after the civil war. Sam Aluko was employed by Ojukwu as a personal adviser. Pay attention to the advice that Sam Aluko gave to Ojukwu concerning the people of modern day SS. It was supposed to be the winning strategy but did Ojukwu listen?. The same mistake was made by modern day secessionists, even if you guys are blood brothers, when children come of age treat them like adults. What will it take the Biafrans to call the leaders of SS to a meeting and make concessions?. They keep laying claims to SS while people there are going to Abuja to support Buhari. Shame. |

CoolAmbience: Only people who didn't understand the state of our infrastructures won't appreciate Buhari.
For me, Buhari has done much more. If you are following the whole state legislature, state judiciary and LG autonomy matters, you'd better understand Nigeria.
Until we open our eyes to seeing that the governors are the problem of Nigeria, we won't make meaningful progress. Look Buhari is stern no doubt but he is a highly objective person. My father told me his own dad wept when Buhari was booted out in 1985. He said Nigerians love easy ways but there are no easy ways, he said easy ways are dead ends, no way forward. He said Nigerians will regret it, he described the situation as a great loss to the country. He said Jawaharlal Nehru was also hated in India, for his anti importation stance, especially on vehicles. My grand father died 20 years ago, but he was dead right. What an elder sees sitting on a mat, a child will never see it even if he climbs a mast. Look at all the money that Nigeria made and squandered between 1985 and 2015. Take a pen, calculate and see, and wonder why the country is still classified as underdevelope?. It is the citizens who are lacking in focus, work now and rest later, but Nigerians prefer to rest now and work later. This is why there's so much suffering in the land now, and the man that they wailed and cried to push out is now back, to do what should have been done and dusted. Let's thank God he is still alive to do a little, how many years does he have left to enjoy some of the things he is now putting in place for this country?. The so called saner climes are today enjoying what great men of their countries, put in place for their unborn country men. Regardless of the circumstances and the situation, an objective person will find a means by which he or she will achieve a set objective. Objectivity and the will to achieve it, is what makes the difference. Thank you GMB. |

The best place to start should be in economically viable areas that lack these sort of infastructures... Riverine cities with lots of capabilities! The next administration can then do that of Lagos since lagos is well off..
Lagos can actually do this project from her huge budget if Tinubus thievery will allow such. Lagos budget dwarfs that of Togo, yet Togo and Benin Republic can do projects like this but in Nigeria, we have to drag these with a rich lagos... But una refuse to give Lagos greater autonomy na, una people voted against it. Moreover why should Lagos use her personal money, to build train for Nigeria?. Educate me I'm all ears. |
