LordVoldermort: Banning twitter in Nigeria might cause issues for now but sooner or later Nigerians will completely forget about Twitter
I expect Americans will soon become terribly annoyed by having foreign issues disturbing their trends, Twitter may soon lose users as a result unless they solve the problem, it seems to me that Nigerians using VPN are making Buhari more successful They are already discussing with the government. |

budaatum: The problem is a lack of productivity of we the citizens. We add no value to our currency so our currency has no value. If we were more productive, like say we actually made something, our currency will increase in value.
Its funny really. We Nigerians want to be paid more but fail to realise we actually get paid what the market determines we are worth. That's why, apart from politicians who award themselves more than they are worth, only the highly skilled get paid lots more while the low skilled earn ₦30k, if that, like the unemployed who get paid ₦0. Tell them bro. We only consume in the country we don't produce. Na so so importation we dey do, look at all those ankara chinese, if the government decides to force the Chinese to come and buy and resuscitate our grounded textile factories, by banning the importation of those ankara factories, you will hear hue and cry as if heaven wan fall. Yet they cry unemployment, things that we as a people should have rather try to produce, we prefare to import. We subject the little we produce, to unhealthy price competition by dumppers. Give some artisans jobs they won't do it, they will eat your money and keep telling you stories. The few who dare to produce will overprice their products and complain of poor sales. Imagine a guy who went into animal husbandry, saying one ram is #300,000 because the rams are specially breed for Salah, I told him he will loose sales to cow sellers, the same mistake he made last year and blame Buhari, he's about to make it this year, these are rams that he fed with farm waste o, me I don already put our people matter for one side, I no get time for nonsense. Is it not the same kind of dirty politics that is being reenacted today by Tinubu/Buhari!? Soyinka that used NADECO to run down the image of this country beyond repair just because his kinsman Abiola was not made president? Going as far as calling for western military intervention in Nigeria!
I guess if the Americans intervened then on the side of NADECO, they would not have shot at anybody in Nigeria. They will invade Nigeria throwing rose flowers at Abacha, right? I'm sure Nnamdi kanus tweets must have been reported in the past but twitter hiding under freedom of expression did not do anything about it
Once again kudos to nigeria government for the brain resetting ban, twitter will now know not to mess with Nigeria either citizens or government When the Israel palestine fracas breaks out, all the video evidences of Israel outright brutality and human rights violations, that were uploaded by the Palestinians into facebook and twitter, were all deleted and even uploaders residential address were sent to Israeli police. The police came and started brutalizing these uploaders, some were even shot dead. Compromising people's anonymity is also a way of protecting " freedom of speech " I supposed?. This life no just balance, if you don't protect your interest, others will not just take you for a ride, they will have you for a dinner. Way to go PMB. |

Igboid: There is no reality to check other than you spinning narratives to justify the Schadefreude dance you were demonically having at the start of Buhari government, when you all felt you were poised to benefit and see to Igbo marginalization. Even at that, Aljharem (A Yoruba Muslim), RPpG9( another Yoruba) were all PDP men and were visibly angry with Yoruba elders for coming to complain to GEJ about not being part of top six positions, when Tinubu and Yoruba ACN obviously worked to stop Mulikat from emerging PDP house speaker and the elders kept quiet.
Look at the quote above. Their grouse was with Yorubas not being part of the top six. Ministerial positions are usually covered by federal character, so all zones are usually well represented. You can only argue about how lucrative the ministerial positions assigned to Yorubas were, but Igbos had good portfolios in OBJ presidency too, and most of them were well merited and they truly delivered. Think of Okonjo-Iweala, Akunyili, etc. It was a reality check for me because I discovered that Igbos were having a good time under Good luck government, but became embittered when Yorubas begins to enjoy similar benefits under Buhari. Fashola alone had 3 ministerial potofolios and Igbos are wailing seriously about it. What is good for the goose should be equally good for the gander. Or what do you think? |

mike8804: not only Oyo but Yoruba as a whole, Rem before fasting we drink together with Muslim friends but during fasting we show solidarity with them by staying off bars until end of Ramadan. Northeners aren't like that I'm a Christian but one old woman here, na me and her dey break fast together. She normally invites me to the fast breaking party. She will say eat whatever you like, by 6 am in the morning, all these food will be wasted. And it was like this everywhere in my hood till the end of Ramadan. Then I also saw some Christians fasting alongside their Muslim friends, I saw Christians cooking and bringing to gift their Muslim friends. I Saw Muslims and Christians joining hands to buy bread, moimoi, akara, koko, beverages, minerals and so on, they put these down in front of mosques for those in need. Even me I was motivated to buy koko and akara, for a few too . Ramadan period was one month of get together in my hood, everyone was happy. |

Igboid: What bile?
Aljharem is a known Yoruba man who claim Northener when it pleases him.
Chino is a man of many colors. We don't know where he is really from. He hated Enugu , Abia, Imo and Ebonyi people. He claims to be Igbo but hate other Igbos. He hides behind Anambra origin but we know he is probably an Ikwerre man, because he practically destroyed Igbo Unity thread we opened here sometime ago.
RPG6 is a Yoruba man.
So what exactly is in this thread that you lots have been masturbating about and creating a non non existent narrative of Igbos supporting your marginalization under GEJ because it was rightly pointed out by PointB an Igbo poster that you lots personally scuttled the PDP house speaker position zoned to SW to Mulikat, just so that you can have Tambuwal come over to APC from PDP? How many Yoruba ministers were appointed by Good luck before the Yoruba elders decided to visit good luck?. How many were appointed even after the visit?. This thread wasn't just an eye opener for me, it was a reality check. |
