Jupxter: Well. I have no problem with them, what they don't know is many times they subject themselves to confusion and indecisiveness. Look at any feminist and you will see cockiness, arrogance, pride, indecisiveness, rudeness, impoliteness, disdain for men, lack of submissiveness and restrain. Wanna know why? They are common traits that unites feminists, one is education, the other is money, they believe these two things make them more evolved than their contemporaries, it's a new strata to typify themselves above other women.
I'm in total support for women emancipation in all forms, and better education and all methods that can be used to make life better for women, but guess what, it's all enshrined in humanitarian cause, not feminism. Have you observed the confusions that wraps itself around feminists,i've tried dating a few, they swing like pendulum, the know in a sand glass, never settling, they keep oscillating between different positions.
Rather than find time to find a good man and settle with, they stick labels on themselves, confuse themselves and end up frustrated, depressed, emotionally depressed, blinded by their own self-indulgence and self-induced blindness, they can all continue, time is a revealer.
We shall see their end, we await, and we hope they can prove us wrong. One thing i'msure, many can't keep a man or make one happy. They lack the skills, what they see is a set of rules and regulations, with no regard for authority, thank goodness they land a job, they can pay a handyman to service their engines when they end up as single mums.
I can see a trend where teens and young ladies are already prepping to live as a divorcee, and we think it's not wrong to correct them early enough. Correct them i will not, they can keep their ignorance and flourish with me, the end is sorrow, bitterness and saddness, this i'm sure. I speak as a sage. Sage indeed......I'm impressed. |

Jupxter: I agree, all these labels are nothing but confusionist theorems to me. It's best to declare what one wants, and everyone tags along with whatever they so desire. As for me, a healthy relationship will do. The mere mention of the word feminism is a drag. I'm out lawyer. Come back,I believe we share the same school of thought.Do you know why feminism is generating so much Hullabaloos, the feminists are not united, most of them are deceptive. Let me tell you a secret about myself,I don't believe in marriage and religion but I believe in a deity or a god.I believe in humanity and equity,I'm the black sheep of my family because of my orientation but that doesn't make me a bad person. |

IamiKayJayCee: This is why I don't call myself a "feminist". I just identify as an advocate for gender equality. ABSOLUTE gender equality, yes. People should be judged purely based on their ABILITIES. Gender is IRRELEVANT! Women are not "weaker vessels" that need "protection" as far as I'm concerned. We're equal. Oh, maybe the average man is PHYSICALLY stronger than the average woman. But why should physiology count? I've met fellow men who are PHYSICALLY STRONGER THAN ME. But you can't tell by these guys are superior to me, "by nature". You'll have to be mentally ill.
And what is "nature", by the way? Take a trip to the jungle if you want to see how nature handles things, then come back to human society to appreciate the fact that ALL the ideologies, beliefs, and orientations we live by are all MAN MADE, and none is Holy Writ or natural. They can all be CHALLENGED! They can all be CHANGED!
The word "feminist" just created 8 pages of pointless bickerings and headless discussions that have no precise direction!
Most of the people here were attacking MISANDRISTS and HYPOCRITICAL IDIOTS [who claim to be feminists, but ARE they feminists?], thinking they're attacking feminism. I could come out and call myself NAPOLEON, but would that make me Napoleon?! It would only mean I'm confused and deluded---or even mad. People can claim to be anything. It's their actions that determine WHAT THEY ARE.
I hate misandrists too---as much as I hate misogynists, but equating feminism with misandry is pure cretinism.
NightHound, I see you. A zillion likes for this post. |

Jupxter: Feminists are shallow and confused. The Fifth specie, shallow, proud, arrogant, petty, indecisive, unloving, unloved, depressed, emotionally imprisoned, cocky and proud. They now seem to be like a repository of terrible attributes ( No disrespect to my sister, Shayebaby, the most brilliant of them all, she's an exemption ) My ex(a lawyer)is a feminist(a socialist feminist to be precise),I think they are more sensible than the radical feminists. Any feminist who is idle is nothing but a clown. |
Romance › Re: I Am A Feminist!! by sirfee(m): 4:34pm On Nov 02, 2017 |
Jupxter: Besides Shayebaby, i owe no feminist here any respect, they lack clear definition about what they want and can't say what they really want I'm very glad we are on the same page, most of them are confused.I'm neither a sexist nor a hypocrite, feminists should stop speaking from both sides of their mouth. There's a big difference between feminism and slaying. |

trustyshoess: I know you're here for my head but hear me out first. So in the space on an hour, I have come across two threads relating to feminism. This is not a counter or anything as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However I can't help but put my 2 cents in. I seriously believe that feminism is highly misunderstood
First things first, let's define feminism; it is the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes. Notice it doesn't say feminism is a drive towards matriarchy? Well that's simple, it's not.
There are many different types of feminism but I won't be discussing all of them as that will take too much time so I urge you to use good old Google! So I think that the kind of feminism that people think of when they hear Feminism is Radical Feminism-: Radical feminism is a movement that believes sexism is so deeply rooted in society that the only cure is to eliminate the concept of gender completely or for females to dominate.
Now that's not the kind of feminism I'm talking about. Another type of Feminism is Liberal Feminism. Liberal feminists strive towards gender equality in all areas of life. Gender equality includes men too!
So why am I a feminist? Or why do I believe in gender equality? No, it's not because I believe that men and women are equal or because I'm against submissiveness or because I want female world domination (although that would be pretty cool) I believe in gender equality for the same reason I believe in racial equality, tribal equality and anything that has to do with fairness in general.
Of course men and women are not equal, physicality being the main difference but they're both humans and both deserve to be treated equally as a result.
Believe me there's soo much more to say, but I don't want to make this too long. Feel free to ask questions, let's see if I can get you to see why feminism isn't all that bad
Give Femism a chance, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. We all should be feminists, we all should be striving towards equality Your last paragraph though,I'm a humanist and I also believe in equity but I have issue with radical feminism because it is the most extreme form.I'm not against liberal, cultural and socialist feminism but I'm against pretence and hypocrisy.A lot of feminists are liars and pretenders, most of them don't know what they want. |

shumuel: 5. Hide and seek.
This is also a very popular game and kids all over the world love it till date, now just has the name goes its simply hide and seek, a child would be selected to close his/her eye and count, mostly to ten(10) or any other number, one choosen by other players, then at the end of counting he/she is expected to go fish out where everyone is hidding or atleast to fish out one of the participants, who would now take his/her place, to count and then seek out someone. My favourite. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Only Africans That Believe In The Existence Of Ghosts And Witches? by sirfee(m): 3:27pm On Oct 29, 2017 |
NPComplete: Paranormal belief is different from paranormal paranoia. How many of those Americans do you reckon kill innocent birds because their dumb arse pastor said so? How many of them do u think see an animal they can't name and begin to shout like they just saw a ghost? How many of them do u reckon believe their grandmother is behind their failures and drug habits?
It is one thing to believe in the supernatural, as a matter of fact, you can hardly be religious without believing in the supernatural and since most Americans are religious it is only expected they believe in the paranormal too, but it is another thing to constantly believe the supernatural are around u everywhere and are out to hurt you. Americans don't explain everything away with the supernatural as a matter of fact, they welcome scientific investigation of such things. But these backwards asshats in Africa will just say "it's not everything science can explain" without first trying to explain it with science and blocking every attempt to investigate it because they are comfortable in their delusions.
This thread is another failed attempt at justifying the pervasive proclivity for supernatural paranoia that is currently gripping Africa and fueled by fake pastors.
Fail!!!!! A billion likes for this post, you've said it all. |
