rasojie: Bro you do not understand me. I am no fan of OBJ or BUHARI. I don't care about them. I am only concerned about the state of our country. Obj raised valid issues and Jonathan dadged them. Let see the fact herewhich valid point are u talking about? the biggest scandal this country ever witness took place during obj tenure haliboton and seimens scandal, obj should not be used as an index to test not even a LG chairman. as a president, he also doubles as the minister of petroleum. |

I really don't see federal universities joining their state counterpart in the struggle. Matthew elechi and Gabriel suswam are really going to have it tough. with there state lecturers. |
some state governors have vowed to implement the no work no pay policy, I think the drama in education sector is just starting ooooooo please help. |
source same old story. |
89% I don't think they're going to resume this year. please any update on Bsu direct entry admission for 2013/2014 session ![]() ![]() ![]() ? |
in the ranks of assu are betrayals, some lecturers will resume especially those from university that voted for discontinuing the strike. don't be surprised if lecturers from state owned university start putting up application in vacant position in federal university. this is Nigeria |
I believe in Nigeria. couldn't have wished for a better country. |

[quote author=fabby26]ASUU is bent on implementation of their agreement and nothing will make them shift their ground not even if God comes down from heaven. The president seeing them does not change their stand, and nothing will change it. And FGN using forceful means may appear fruitful at onset, but I smell failure. The best thing for FG to do is 100% implementation. CHIKINA[/quote sorry, you're not totally right in your assertion on implementation of that agreement to the latter, if that agreement should be implemented its going to cause serious problem among other unions in the academia. other union from different sectors of labour will also engage the government in strike action until a conducive environment for them is attained. |
ASUU pleading police to allow protest and ASUU wont allow fg plea to return to class. rubbish |
let the lazy dudes (lecturers) go back to class 108 senators unanimously agreed that ASUU demands are not implementable. |
unrealistic demands, please someone should tell this guys that they are only resting at home and should return back to class instead of absconding from duty when they aren't on leave. lazy dudes |
ASUU demands is unrealistic in any society, sorry if the lecturers feel bad about this. let ASUU make the agreement reached with fg public on a national daily then 98% of Nigerians will see reason not to back ASUU. I strongly support David mark that government reps on the agreement never knew there left from right and ASUU took advantage of there ignorance. |
ASUU are gradually losing it. benue state university governing board has sidelined their lecturers whom are on ASUU strike and have asked aspirants to submit their details on the school portal latest 18th October, as they seek to release admission before 31th October without post utme cos Jamb told university to forfeit admission if they failed to release list at the end of this month. |
supper story, this time it's going to be closed for 3 years. |
when you talk of history of Nigeria, you start from 1914. 1960 was one of the many events that occurred in the existence of her history, fashola is an intellectual and that's why even in his speech he gave room for anyone to enlighten him more. Nigeria was given birth to in 1914 and was freed from slavery in 1960. |
should we close governance in Nigeria because of 3tri? ASUU, please rethink. ASUU president said the struggle is a continuous one so why not go and start up something with the little you've gotten? another truth is this, its better parents start sending their children to technical college then use the money ment for university education to establish them in areas they specialize. that way they will be self employed and useful to the society. this university shun out graduate and they end up being jobless not just because they are not employable, but on a realistic note where are the industry to absorb them graduate with b.ed can't get a place to teach cos nysc send corpers to the class. even CBN is urging federal government to cut down it's work force to stabilize the economy. may God give us statesmen that think about the next generation and not all this politicians in class and government that think about the next election. I love my country Nigeria and God bless us Nigerians. |
labour laws in this country is rubbish. |
