– The chief of army staff, Tukur Buratai, has been dragged to court by the lawyer of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu

– Kanu is asking the court to make an order to mandate Buratai to produce him in court on his next trial date

– In suit filed by Kanu’s lawyer, he claims his client has not been seen since soldiers invaded his house

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has dragged the chief of army staff, Tukur Buratai, to court.

The IPOB leader in an originating motion filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, Kanu, prayed the court to give an order of ‘Habeas Corpus ad subjiciendum’ which will command Buratai to produce him in court on his next adjournment date for the criminal trial he is facing.

An ex corp member, Stephena Chisom Ohiri has shared with ybl photos of the good deeds she carried out during her service year.

Chisom donated to a community on Minna, a public toilet, signposts, traffic warden posts and others, which according to her, cost her over a million Naira. Chisom says she wasnt recognized by the NYSC due to her relocation factor and she had to share her good deed through other means.

– Nnamdi Kanu accused the army of intimidation, torture, arrest, abduction and killing of civilian populace in the southeast

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has petitioned the European Union on the ongoing military operation in south east region of Nigeria.

The IPOB leader in the petitioned dated September 14, accused the Nigerian military of intimidation, torture, arrest, abduction and killing of civilian populace in the southeast.

The letter written by the counsel to the IPOB leader, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, was addressed to the secretary general of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, the European Union High Commission, the presidents of United States of America, Russia and Israel.

– Sahara Reporters released an alleged conversation between two men close to the presidency

– It was proposed that President Buhari should resign

– Abba Kyari was proposed as vice president

An allegedly leaked telephone conversation between two presidency cabal has been released by Sahara Reporters with the conversation focusing on President Muhammadu Buhari’s health.

In the allegedly conversation between two unnamed persons believed to be close to the president, they discussed Buhari’s health calling for his resignation

Abba Kyari who is the chief of staff to the president was also proposed as vice president.

In the alleged conversation, the caller informed the recipient that Mamman Daura, the President’s nephew, and Mr. Kyari had been sneaked into Kaduna from abroad on a chartered plane.

The caller also said Mr. Lawan Daura, the director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS) received them but they did not go to his house

The caller said: “They held a meeting, including Sani Zango Daura. They said they held a meeting; they are looking for a way out. They are in a cul-de-sac. They said Mamman Daura is trying to convince the President to resign on the condition that Abba Kyari be made Vice President”

The initiator of the call further said the matter was presented to Professor Ango Abdullahi, the spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, but he rejected it.

The caller urged the recipient to speak with Abdullahi and make him buy into the scheme.

– Kanu said he has been reliably informed that some soldiers have being stationed along Enugu Expressway to assassinate him

– He also said he will be busy attending to funeral of some of the members of the IPOB killed by the military

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has finally released a statement since the Tuesday, September 12, siege laid at his residence by troops of the Nigerian military.

Kanu in a statement personally signed by him said prominent leaders and group have before now urged him to tow the line of peaceful dialogue with governors from the south eastern region of the country.

He said he already conceded to the request from the prominent leaders which led to the August 30, meeting with governor of the South East Governors’ Forum at the Government House in Enugu. He said, however, in view of the effort of the federal government through the military to oppress him and members of the group especially on the ongoing peaceful dialogue with the governors, he will not be attending this Friday’s meeting with the forum.

Giving reasons for his decision, Kanu said he will be busy attending funerals of members of the IPOB allegedly killed by military operatives.

He also said he has been reliably informed that some soldiers have being stationed along Enugu Expressway to assassinate him.

Kanu however commended the steadfast and total commitment of all members of the IPOB while assuring the group that he remains resolute in his agitation for the freedom of Biafra.
