Asari Dokubo has lashed out at President Muhammadu Buhari saying he is able to fly himself and his family with a Presidential private jet because of oil money from Niger Delta.

In a video, the former militant leader lamented that the Ijaw people don’t have access to clean water as oil has polluted their rivers.

- The Biafra Nations Youth League has disclosed that referendum activities would begin on November 6, across the states of the southeast

- The group's leader, Princewill Obuka, stated that that date was chosen as it marked the anniversary of the death of Philip Effiong, the man who signed the document for the surrender of Biafra at the end of the Civil War

- Obuka also bashed the presiding judge in the Nnamdi Kanu trial for threatening to withdraw from the case; as he stressed that the judge had a duty to find out where the IPOB leader was being held

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has stated that the only way the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, can defend himself in court, is if the Nigerian military produced him.

Speaking after Kanu failed to show up for his court case on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode revealed that he got information that soldiers killed up to 28 people, before the IPOB leader went missing.

Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, yesterday, called on the international community to demand from the Nigerian military why it raided the home of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, particularly as the Nigerian Defence Minister, General Mansur Dan Ali (retd) had admitted such raid.This came as the coalition of all Civil Society Organisations, CSOs, and Non Governmental Organisations, NGOs, in Nigeria have called on the Federal Government to investigate what happened to Kanu after the army’s raid of his house in September.

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday ordered Senator Eyinnanya Abaribe, and two others standing as sureties for the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to explain the IPOB leader’s whereabouts.

Kanu who was granted bail by the judge on April 24, 2017, was absent from court on Tuesday when his trial was billed to commence.

But his three co-defendants were produced in court by prison officials.

The Family of the leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has faulted claims by Abia Commissioner of Police, Anthony Michael Ogbizi that police recovered lethal weapons when, in a joint exercise with the Army, raided their compound at Afara Ukwu on October 8.

Mr Ogbizi had said during a press briefing in Umuahia on Thursday that lethal weapons including petrol bombs and one double-barrel gun were recovered during the raid.

The International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law (Intersociety) has highlighted reasons why Igbos may no longer trust the Nigeria Army.

The group, in a statement by Emeka Umeagbalasi, its Chair, Chinwe Umeche, Head, Democracy & Good Governance; and Obianuju Igboeli, Head, Civil Liberties & Rule of Law, affirmed that the greatest threat facing the Nigerian Army, is “its integrity and professionalism (if any) as well as its general acceptance and factorization into the multi ethno-religious federation of Nigeria is its present lopsided composition; designed and executed by the present Buhari/Osinbajo Administration since 29th May 2015.

“The gross lopsided composition of the officers and personnel of the Nigerian Army is substantially, if not totally responsible for woes facing it since June 2015. The referenced terminal virus haunting the Army is also the case with other branches of the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Police.”

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has lashed out at Dr Nnia Nwodo, the president-general of the Ohaneze Ndigbo saying he was planning to be vice president in 2019.

In a statement released on Wednesday, October 11, the now-proscribed group said it fell out with the Ohaneze Ndigbo leader and that he was bitter because he wasn’t allowed to be the leader of the eastern region.

A little girl who grew breasts when she was just 2 years and started her period at age 4 is now going through menopause at just 5 years old.

Little Emily Dover was born a normal baby and even weighed less than her older siblings did at birth but as the weeks went by, she suddenly began experiencing "exceptional" growth and also suffered from "constant health issues".

At 4 months, Emily was as tall as a 1-year-old. She was still a toddler when she developed cystic acne, breast buds and strong body odour and this left her parents shocked. The first time she saw her period when she was 4 years old, she had no idea what it was and thought she had pooed in her undies. The little child was then taught how to put panty liners on for menstruating.

"My foo foo is bleeding," Emily tells her parents whenever she gets her period.

The 2017 edition of the prestigious Africa Muzik Magazine Awards & Music Festival (AFRIMMA) awards was held on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at the House of Blues, Dallas, US. The show was hosted by Basketmouth and Chipukeezy and the likes of Falz, Kaffy, Scientific from Liberia, Tzy Panshak from Cameroon, C4 Pedro, as well as Nsoki, both from Angola, entertained the audience with amazing performances.

The event was organized to appreciate the brilliance of African music and to reward the best music professionals across Africa. The different categories of the 2017 edition of the AFRIMMA awards were very competitive but Davido ended up as the biggest winner of the night, claiming both the Artist of the Year award and the Song of the Year Award for “If.”

Former U.S Attorney General Tells UN: Designate Nnamdi Kanu as Internationally Protected Person Controversial former U.S attorney-general Bruce Fein has urged the United Nations Security Council, under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter to designate Nnamdi Kanu as an “internationally protected person” as defined in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Internationally Protected Persons, Including Diplomatic Agents.

Article I of the Convention defines an “internationally protected person as “A Head of State, including any member of a collegial body performing the functions of a Head of State under the constitution of the State concerned, a Head of Government or a Minister of Foreign Affairs, whenever such person is in a foreign state ….”

“The acts and utterances of IPOB were acts and utterances of terrorists, said the federal government after the organization was proscribed, but Fein in a fresh appeal to the world body said that Nnamdi Kanu, qualifies as a ‘Head of State.’ “In sum, Nnamdi Kanu, qualifies as a “Head of State” under the Convention. He is one of a group of IPOB leaders who perform the core government function in the South East region of Nigeria of protecting the physical safety of innocent civilian Biafrans from predation or murder by Hausa-Fulani terrorists. He is subject de facto to Nigerian martial law.

There is no time for any long preamble today. The nitty-gritty of this epistle is dictated by two major events that occurred almost simultaneously during the week, signalling the beginning of the 2019 Presidential race. First, was the open and frontal declaration of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose, a man of immense courage. Second, was the release of the electoral timetable by the electoral umpire, INEC. Prior speculations about who’s running or not will soon be affirmed or refuted. The time has finally come for the masquerades to come out of the groves and dance in the marketplace.
